The best journey in my life is my college life.
Placements: 45% of students were placed in the Agriculture department of my college campus drive. The highest salary package is 35k, and the lowest package is 20k. The top recruiting companies are Sathyam Bio Teach and Grow More Pvt Ltd. 50% of students got internships in topmost companies.
Infrastructure: In Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Agriculture College, the infrastructure is best for the agriculture college and the department of my batch. Wi-Fi is provided by management 24*7, and Wi-Fi ID and password are provided to each member separately. The canteen is big and near my college. Mess food is good and hygienic.
Faculty: In DSAC campus, facilities are friendly and knowledgeable in the agriculture department and agriculture engineering department. In this course, the curriculum is 8 semesters, and each semester contains 8-10 courses. The semester examination has a moderate mode of questions and practicals.
Other: Event planning is mostly done by students of the final year, headed and worked by juniors. Scholarships are provided by the government. BC, MBC, and SC/ST scholarships are provided.

Agriculture life in DSAC campus.
Placements: Sixty (60%) percentage of the students placed in this course college in Perambalur. The highest package of placements is 30k and the lowest package is 18k. Grow More and Kem Agro Pvt Ltd are the companies that placed students in my college campus drive, mostly in marketing-related jobs only.
Infrastructure: In DSAC, infrastructure is best for my course and department. Wi-Fi facilities are available in college and hostel rooms 24*7, and the Wi-Fi user ID and password are individually provided by management, the quality of food is good, and the dining room is widely big, with all departments dining in the same hall.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable in each separate course. Teaching quality is good, and practical classes are more interesting in the agriculture field, where we learn agriculture from farmers in my college field. Semester examinations in my college campus are very strict.

College life is the best for my future in Agriculture.
Placements: Around 114 students get placed in our college. The highest salary package is offered in Entomology, Pathology, and Soil Science. Biofertilizer companies offer placements in our college, but internships are provided in our course. Agri entrepreneurs hire students. Most students start as entrepreneurs.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure with all the necessary facilities like a library, labs, and classrooms. Wi-Fi connection is provided this year. Every subject has unique labs. There is an average canteen but a medium mess. Hostel facilities are provided outside the campus. The DSAC team is good at sports and games. Many intercultural sports meets are conducted in our college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are the best and most qualified. Teaching quality is better. The course curriculum is more relevant. Semester exams are a little difficult. The pass percentage is 60%. It is easy for average students to score high marks. Different types of exam methods are followed.
Other: Campus is mostly crowded because of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University.

College life is the best in my life.
Placements: Placements are good. The highest salary offered is Rs 50,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs 15,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Rasi Sees and Fertilizer Company. Top roles offered are extension work, agriculture officer, and other work like farming techniques.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. The infrastructure is excellent in our college. Free Wi-Fi is available in our hostels. Laboratory is well-equipped. Library has agriculture books, magazines, and newspapers. The food quality is very good. Sports are conducted, and extracurricular sports activities are also organised.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified in both practical and theoretical classes. The teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are averagely difficult. The pass marks are 60 out of 100.
Other: I am from an agricultural family so I wanted to know more about farming and the marketing of agriculture. Events like sports events, exhibitions, and 1st graduate scholarships are organised. Extracurricular activities like NCC and NSS are also conducted. This college is very good. I would recommend students to join this college.

About college days of my life.
Placements: 80% of students get placed. The initial salary that will be provided by the companies will be Rs 25,000/-. Fertilizer companies will be recruiting. 50% of students get internships but it is based on their own interest. Students after completion of the course are eligible to set up fertilizer shops, mushroom production units, and are eligible to crack various competitive exams.
Infrastructure: There are laboratories for every single course and a vast land area for the field classes with a plantation. The hostel is located near the college which is within walking distance. The food is good, and other facilities will be very neat. Hostel rooms will be provided with 24 hour Wi-Fi, and there will be no need to step out. Everything will be provided within the hostel campus.
Faculty: Teachers are highly professional and completely friendly. It makes the students industry-ready. If the topics are learnt conceptually, it is very easy to clear the exams. The pass percentage is 60% which means you have to score 60 out of 100 together in the final and mid-semester exam.
Other: Agriculture is a basic need so I chose this course. There will be a lot of cultural events and club inaugurations every year.

College life is the best moment of our lives.
Placements: Around 65% of students are placed, with packages ranging from 2.5 LPA to 5.8 LPA. Average package is 3.2 LPA. Leading recruiters included Coromandel, Rasi Sees, Godrej Agrovet, and ITC. Nearly 55% of students secured internships in agri-based firms, with roles like agronomist, field officer, and sales executive.
Infrastructure: Campus provides Wi-Fi, modern labs, spacious classrooms, and a well-stocked library for academics. Hostel rooms have 5 members in each room. Laundry service is available. Our college is clean and comfortable. Food quality in the mess and canteen is decent, and basic medical support is available. Sports grounds and indoor games like volleyball, basketball, kabaddi, and shettle add to students' lives.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. All faculty members present are friendly. The course is relevant. It has a decent amount of placement and scope in the current trend. College semester examinations are a little bit tough but can be cleared.
Other: I chose this course because it involves more practical and theory. It is a professional course.

Q:   How can I check my merit list at the TNAU?
A: 

Candidates, who have applied for various courses at the TNAU, can check their admission results in the form of merit lists online on this page or on the official website of the university. Follow the steps below to check the merit list through the official website:

  • Visit the official website page of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University admission (tnau.ac.in)
  • Click on the Academics tab and then on Admissions followed by Undergraduate.
  • On the next page, the menu will open to display a list of notifications related to UG programmes.
  • Click on the 'UG Ranklist 2022' option. On the next page a dropdown table containing various lists appears.
  • Select from the menu of the provisional lists for UG and Diploma programmes to display it in PDF format.
Q:   How much percentage is required for TNAU?
A: 

The eligibility criteria for admission to all the undergraduate and postgraduate programme is different at TNAU. As per the basic eligibility criteria for admission to UG programmes, the candidates must have qualified class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum of fifty percent aggregate. While for admission to PG programmes candidates must have completed graduation with a minimum of fifty percent aggregate in the relevant discipline.

No, the entrance exam for MSc course at TNAU is offline. Candidates are required to be present on the stated date and time for the entrance exam/ written test on their own costs at TNAU, Coimbatore.
