A good and reputable college in the city, definitely can go for it if good exposure is needed.
Placements: Various companies come for placements with a Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 50,000 package, but only 10 to 15 students get hired in each company from the whole college. They can tie up with more companies and provide placements for atleast 70%, which is now only 40% in reality, need to improve on it.
Infrastructure: All the food quality is good in the mess. Wi-Fi, labs, and the library are all maintained properly. There is a separate block for sports, and a sports quota is provided for players. They have a separate apolo medical facility in case of any medical emergency.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, and the curriculum is relevant. The pass percentage is above 80. They provide all types of courses from B.Com to medical arts, etc. Students can join according to their interests. However, the cut-off percentage varies for each course.

College placement, faculty, and infrastructure are well satisfied.
Placements: More than 80% students got placed from the campus drive. 6 LPA was the highest salary, and the lowest was 4 LPA. Most of the students got an offer letter from Goldman Sachs, Earnest and Young. About 70% students were get offering internship program from many companies. Top role offered were analyst and Associate.
Infrastructure: Our college provided many facilities, such as well-equipped computer labs with Wi-Fi enabled. Canteen served quality food. Medical Facilities were available 24/7 in college. Our college provided huge classrooms. A playground was available where students can play and reduce stress. We had two auditoriums, the first one was an open auditorium and the second one was close auditorium.
Faculty: Teachers were always available to support. They were extremely experienced and highly qualified. The course curriculum was relevant and made students industry-ready. Semester exam marks depended on the amount of class attendance and the knowledge you gained.

Best college I have ever seen.
Placements: Recruitment at this college is good and above average. Most of the students get placements in good companies, but about 70% of students are placed here. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Times of India, TCS, etc. The highest salary offered is 12 LPA, and the average salary offered is 7 LPA. Top roles offered are expert, journalism, and more.
Infrastructure: Our college offers wonderful amenities. Classrooms and labs are air-conditioned and well-maintained. The Wi-Fi in the hostels is not great, but the library is wonderful. Hostels are clean and well-kept. When a student becomes ill, the hostel staff is caring and supportive. Smart classroom furniture is available.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and knowledgeable, ready to help students whenever needed. The curriculum is somewhat outdated. It needs to be revised urgently as the demand of the industry evolves day by day. Semester exams are not difficult, and the pass rate is around 36%.

The best arts and science college for culturals and exposure.
Placements: Around 70% of the students were placed in my course and batch. The highest package was 10LPA, the average was 4LPA, and the lowest package offered in 2025 was 2-3 LPA. About 40% of the students secured internships in TCS, Dellillote, Accenture, and Cognizant through the Mathematics course. The most common role offered in my course was as a Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: The auditorium is the only good facility at Ethiraj; beyond that, the infrastructure is quite average, and not all restrooms are neat and clean. Only a few buildings are well maintained, while many are in poor condition. I have friends who lived in the hostel for three years and experienced the terrible conditions firsthand. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay at Ethiraj Hostel. There are many good private hostels nearby that are a better choice. One can choose them instead of staying in the Ethiraj hostel just for the low fee and get sick and spend all your money in the hostel.
Faculty: Teaching-wise it is good at Ethiraj, 4/5 I would say. Teachers are knowledgeable and PhD/NET qualified only in the mathematics department. My course didn't make the students industry-ready. They are focused on studying and getting a good CGPA, that's it. Semester exams are not that tough, depending upon each semester and each exam. The pass percentage is 40/100.
Other: I chose this course because there is a wide range of opportunities available for mathematics and a very underrated course. The best thing about my course is that I will not need a coaching class for any competitive exams because maths would already teach you to be analytical and give you critical thinking knowledge. I think the syllabus could be modernized because the world is now into AI, so math-oriented with AI would be even more beneficial. If you want to have fun, trust me guys, Ethiraj is the best.

I am satisfied studying in this college with such good educational facilities, safety, and events.
Placements: Under UG, about 50% of students got placed from my college and some chose to pursue a post-graduation degree. The highest package is about Rs. 75,000 and the lowest package is about Rs. 20,000. The average package is about Rs. 50,000. Wipro, TCS, and Accenture are top companies where students got internships through course. Top roles offered are HR, management roles, code developer, and more.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. We have classrooms with two big windows for less suffocation, proper tables, chairs, proper fans, and light. We even have our own department's computer laboratory. The variety of food in canteen is less, but it's cooked with quality. My college is well known for its events, culture, and sports. Hostel rooms and pretty good too. We have Apollo Shine on our campus for medical emergencies.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are extremely good at English and experienced. They conduct 2 CAs before semester for our practice. In our upcoming computer and AI generation, this course is perfect. Semester exams are difficult, but you can crack them once you learn everything. Pass mark is above 40%.
Other: I chose this course as I was a commerce student, but didn't want to pursue B.Com and liked computers and code. They teach code and graphics and make us understand easily. To improve this course is to increase the laboratory period. There are two main cultural events in our college, enormous scholarship facilities, and extracurricular activities are awesome and provide us certificates.

It is very good to study and work in a high industry.
Placements: 75% of students get placed in companies like Thomas Cook, Residence, and Akbar Tours and Travel. 50% of students got internships at India Tourism, Chennai. Roles like air ticketing executive, air hostess, telecaller, office assistant, visa officer, and passport officer are offered.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, good classrooms and a library with many types of books. Canteen food is good and affordable with neat maintenance and ambience. It provides chapati, poori, chat items, samosas, and puffs. The mess provides daily menu meals with papads. My college provides free noon meals for many students.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and friendly to students. Our course is not difficult to study. It has very easy and interesting subjects. Semester exams are easy to complete, and questions are easy to attend exams. 97% of students pass exams.
Other: I am interested in the travel and aviation industry, so I chose it. It should provide an M.A. in tourism and travel management course in the future days. Shrishti cultural fest organised is awesome here.
