TNAU MSc admissions 2025 is closed. The university conducts its own entrance exam for the MSc course and exam mode will be physical only. However, the exam date and time will be updated on the official website and the same will be sent to the registered email ID provided.
The university offers multiple MSc courses and a few courses across five campuses, i.e., Coimbatore, Madurai, Killikulam, Trichy, Mettupalayam.

TNAU MSc Eligibility & Highlights 2025

The university offers MSc programme across various specialisations. Students who are looking for MSc admissions at TNAU, can check the points mentioned below:

Students applying for DBT supported GAT-B MSc (Agriculture) Molecular Biology & Biotechnology programme need not appear for TNAU Common PG entrance examination conducted by the School of Post Graduate Studies, TNAU, Coimbatore. To know the eligibility for DBT supported GAT-B MSc (Agriculture) in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology programme, students can read the attached file PDF.
Only those students who have studied in State Agricultural Universities (SAUs)/ Colleges affiliated to SAUs/ Central Agricultural Universities (CAUs)/ ICAR Deemed Universities/ Central Universities with Agriculture Faculty registered by ICAR/ any other institutions accredited by NAEAB (ICAR) unaccompanied are suitable for admission to TNAU for Masters programmes.
Apart from this, a candidate who has experienced a course credit system with a least OGPA of 3 out of 4 or 6.6 out of 10 in a bachelor’s degree programme can apply for a master’s programme. However, for SC/ST candidates, a minimum OGPA of 6.5 out of 10 in a bachelor’s degree is sufficient.

TNAU MSc Admission Process 2025: How to Apply?

Students who want to apply for one course are required to pay in the range of INR 1,550 to INR 4,600, for two courses the amount would be in the range of INR 3,050 to INR 3,100 and for three courses the amount would be the range of 4,550 to INR 4,600. This is to note that, the application fee mentioned here includes the fee applicable for general or reserved category students. The application for the MBA programme at TNAU 2025 is online. However, as of now, the application is closed for the course. To apply for the MSc programme for the next academic year, students can check the application steps below:

Our campus life is very good.

Placements: There were 90 students in our batch. Top recruiting companies were Farmitopia, Agrotech, and Rasi Seeds. Many students got placed in government jobs. The top roles offered were horticultural officer and agricultural field officer.

Infrastructure: Our campus was Wi-Fi enabled. Hostel rooms were better. Several books were available in the library. Separate laboratories were available for all branches. The food quality was better. There was a dispensary on our campus. Playground was huge. There was an indoor stadium on our campus.

Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified, kind, and talented. They always clarify our doubts. The course curriculum was relevant, and you could join a new business as well. Semester exams were hard. The pass percentage was 60%.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Many opportunities were available at this college.

It is the best university in India for studying agricultural entomology.

Placements: General campus interviews are conducted with reasonable salary package. Mostly, based on our knowledge, we may select in multinational companies, Indian pesticide companies, private banks, fertiliser companies, coaching academies, etc. We can also write government exams.

Infrastructure: Everything is good at TNAU. Agricultural entomology department was old in TNAU. Most of the top rankers are in the Indian council of agricultural research, all India entrance examination for agriculture, postgraduate and JRF exam.

Faculty: All faculty members in the agricultural entomology department are very good, experienced and much knowledgeable in the subjects. Usually, all are very student-friendly, and all have published many research articles.

I am satisfied with this college because of its faculty members.

Placements: Approximately 50% of students got placed in our course. The average salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Many fertilizer and seed companies visit our college to recruit students. Around 15 students got placed at SK Fertilizer LTD.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our campus is good. Our college provides us with all facilities. Our college has a digitalised library. Wi-Fi facility is available in our college. Our college provides separate labs for all subjects. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and speakers. Classrooms are well-maintained. The hostel provides few facilities. The food served in the hostel is average. Our college gives importance to sports.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Semester exams are a bit difficult. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready.

Other: Our campus is situated in a village. The campus surroundings are not well-developed.
