Hi, Like most of the engineering colleges, there are two criteria for getting admission in Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology. One is on the basis of your JEE score and the other one is on the basis of your 12th class percentage (PCM or PCB). The division of seats for the above two is 70% and 30% respectively. Hello,The minimum marks required to get into Thapar University in is to have 20% marks in JEE Mains that is scoring a minimum of 72 marks will make you eligible for admission. But you will not be getting any Core Branches. Also if your marks are around 90 don't expect seats from direct counseling.
