Hello Reshim. First of all just relax your mind. Just ask your soul that if you appear in JEE Advanced will you be able to achieve a good rank which is sufficient for you to get into a good IIT. If the answer comes that yes I will definitely crack JEE Advanced then please go for advance and leave behind Thapar because it is more valuable then Thapar University. If you are getting a doubt that I will not be able to clear JEE Advanced for I will not be able to secure a good rank to get into IIT then and go for Thapar but simultaneously prepare for your JEE Advanced exam also. I am sure that counselling process for admission will not Hinder your JEE Advanced test and the these two dates will be separated from a great margin so there is no chance forgetting counselling at Thapar and giving your JEE Advanced at the same time. I would suggest you to go with VIT, if you get a seat in CSE and can afford, As VIT is ranked No 1 private Institute by Indian Government 4th time in a row. Coming to placements and curriculum wise it's really excellent. There are top placement record for CSE students offering more than 40L by companies like Microsoft.
