To get admission in Master of Science (MSc) programme, candidates must have passed graduation and appear for CUET- PG exam. Selection will be done the basis of CUET score. Admission will be given after the verification of the original certificates. Candidates admitted to PG programmes must submit the consolidated statement of score/ performance record of the qualifying exam. 

CUET result 2026 will be declared tentatively in first week of July. Candidates who will appear for the exam can download their CUET scorecard online when released. The link to download the CUET scorecard will be available at CUET results 2026. Candidates will be required to enter the login credentials to view the CUET 2026 scorecard online. CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that candidates has applied for while filling the application form. Gandhigram University accepts Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG) scores for admission to its MBA programme. The admission criteria for the course depend on the marks secured in the UG degree. The selection process for MBA programme is based on the CUET PG exam.

The placement percentage in The Gandhigram Rural Institute is very moderate, and only 50% to 60% of the students got placement every year. The last batch had 70 students and out of which 40 got placed in the chemical companies. They provide a minimum salary of Rs.15,000 for everyone who got placed.
