Placements: Average placement package ranges from 3 to 5.5 LPA, with around 70% of students placed. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 5.5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. About 60% of students received internships at startups, TCS, and Cognizant, mainly in roles like SDE and Analyst.

Infrastructure: The college offers free Wi-Fi throughout the campus for academic use. The computer labs are well-furnished with modern systems and essential software. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with smart boards, promoting interactive learning.

They have their own transportation.

Placements: In our college, every student get placed in academic year 2024-25. The highest package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary is 2.2 LPA. Marchant Navy, Goldi Solar, and many other companies hire students. 90% of students got internship opportunities under government of Tripura like OTPC and TSECL. Site engineer post they offered.

Infrastructure: On college campus, Wi-Fi is available. All lab equipments is provided for practical experience. On campus, a central library is present. Classes are well maintained with 24X7 CCTV and smartboards. The food quality is also good in hostel. Medical facilities are available. They have their own ambulance. We have on campus park, gym, and every sports equipment present.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Every teacher has Ph.D. degree or master degree in their department. In this university, passing percentage is 90-95%. Exam is a little bit difficult. But if you study well teachers will help everyone to successfully complete their course.

Other: I chose electrical engineering because the Tripura government has many power stations and they offered jobs. There are approximately 10,000 students in our university. We have the biggest events in North East like Novatos and ICARIA. Our university provides NJY memorial scholarship and NSP scholarship also available. In our university, many webinars, technical events, and social events are held.

Placements: 60 to 70 percent of students are placed. Packages range from 3 LPA to 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, and Accenture. From our department, 90 to 99% of students got internships in companies like CIPET, TCS, HCL, Flipkart, Amazon, etc.

Infrastructure: The hostel provides basic amenities including a bed, chair, desk, and wardrobe in each room. Students have access to dining facilities, a medical center, a gymnasium, and a canteen. The library and computer center have high-speed internet. Sports and games facilities are also good.

Faculty: The professors are good, qualified, knowledgeable, as well as helpful, and very friendly. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. The semester exams are moderately difficult. The passing percentage is 30% in each subject.

Other: I did my Diploma in engineering, so I chose B.Teach (lateral). The best thing is good infrastructure, strong faculty, and decent placement opportunities.

Review of The ICFAI University, Tripura.

Placements: As a 1st year student, I know a bit less about the placements. But as the seniors told me almost 65% of the students get placed in good companies. The highest package is 30 LPA, and the average package ranges between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Academor, Acmegrade, etc. 100% of students get internships from my course. Top role offered in my course is software engineering role.

Infrastructure: We are provided with good quality classrooms with smartboards. Good practical labs are provided. Library facilities are also good. Free Wi-Fi is also provided on the campus. Hostel facilities are good. The rooms are good and the bathroom is also decent. Food quality in the hostel mess is average. Medical facilities are also there on the campus. Sports and games are also promoted here. Many tournaments are conducted on campus.

Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Everyone here is ex-IITian. Other teaching quality is good. But some teachers don't teach well. Course is somewhat relevant. I would say they make us only 10% industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult. Almost 96% of the students passed.

Other: The best part of my course is that here I will be prepared for future IT jobs and many others. I would suggest providing more good teachers for our computer science subjects. Yearly 2 events are organised. One is the freshers fest Novatos and the grand fest Icaria. The campus remains crowded all the time during the college timings. Scholarships are given to students getting more than 8 SGPA. Many extra-curricular contests are also conducted on the campus.

Truth of the ICFAI University.

Placements: The percentage of students who get placed in my course is 80%. The highest salary package offered in our course is 8 LPA and the average package is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies in our course are basically the IT sector like Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, HCL, Wipro, Infosys, Jio, Tech Mahindra, etc. The percentage of students who got internships in our course is around 90%. Top roles offered in our course are web developer, software engineer, frontend developer, backed developer, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities like smart boards and a large class where more than 80 students can sit are available. The infrastructure is also good. Computer labs are fully air-conditioned and all-time Wi-Fi is available for all students 24x7. The library is there where valuable books are available for students of all courses. The hostel is good, and they provide basic needs like a bed, a table, a chair, a cupboard, fans, and lights. But the hostel mess food is not good, and the taste of the food is not as per the fees payable. Medical facilities are available on the campus. All kinds of sports are available on campus.

Faculty: In my opinion, teachers are very good, helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. They give us valuable notes in the form of offline written form, PPTs, and in PDF form. The course curriculum is good for me as it provides good subjects in both computer and science, which basically improves our coding and communication skills too. Our semester exams are easy, only by consistency in studies. If students attend classes daily they can easily pass exams. The pass percentage is 90%.

Other: The main two fests that are celebrated on our campus are Novatos which is celebrated for freshers and Icaria which is one of the biggest tech fest in our state.

Placements: The number of students that get placed in our course is 76%. The highest package offered in my course is 8 LPA and the average package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, TCS, HCL, Flipkart, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Around 90% of students got chance of internships from our course.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure and structure are good. There are well big enough classes which can hold more than 100 students. There are smart boards in every class and fully air-conditioned computer labs. There is a free Wi-Fi connection 24x7 and libraries for every course where valuable books for every student are available. The hostel is good for only to stay and they provide us with basic needs and sports facilities. The only thing that I regret is that the mess food is below average.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good enough. They provide notes in the form of PDFS and PPTs. They usually teach on smart boards. The course curriculum is good but in the first semester, subjects are not good or useless. It makes students ready for only getting placements in small companies. Semester exams are not very hard and can be easily manageable with proper study and regular classes.
