An affordable college worth spending money for middle-class family students.

Placements: According to last year, 74.5% of students were placed in civil engineering course. The highest salary is Rs 8 LPA. The average salary is Rs 5.40 LPA. The lowest salary is Rs 3 LPA packages are offered in civil engineering. Top recruiting companies are Asian Paints, Tata Consultation Services, Bajaj Motors, etc.

Infrastructure: There are 3 free Wi-Fi services provided at ICFAI University campus for students. There are 2 laboratory buildings specifically for labs. Classrooms have the capability to hold 40-50 students. There is a specific separate building for a library to hold books for all programs. Hostel facilities like gym, medical center, indoor games like caram, and chess are available.

Faculty: ICFAI University is a private institution so the qualifications of teachers are very high. The selection of teachers is very strict so teachers are helpful in matters of students' problems. Difficulty level of semester exams is average, neither too hard nor too easy. The percentage of passing is 90%-95%.

Other: The choice for civil engineering is related to my family work which is related to construction work. The best thing about my course is that its flexible. The process of internship can be improved. ICFAI University holds events like Novatos, Icarrya, youth festival, science fair, and cultural fair.

My experience at ICFAI in the recent years.

Placements: Among the previous batches, there have been many students who got selected in big companies that offer placements. The highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest would be 4 LPA, and the average would probably be 5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS and Ambuja Cement. Almost everyone that applies for placement exams does end up in good companies.

Infrastructure: There's various facilities provided around the campus: Wi-Fi 24/7, labs with accommodated machines and equipment, ventilated classrooms, and of course, a library. Medical facilities are also provided for free within the campus 24/7. Hostel facilities are available too. Hostel facilities are provided as well. I'm a day scholar, but my friends staying at the hostel did claim there's 24/7 running water and also electricity and WiFi. They even have setup a TV in common rooms for recreation, along with an open gym area and park.

Faculty: The faculty is quite knowledgeable, most of them being already Ph.D. holders; they have so much to teach us. The faculty members are friendly too. Regarding the course curriculum, it is relevant to our syllabus, but apart from these, we do have other extra courses too that teach us corporate discipline, which I think is very important. As for semester exams, the difficult would probably be a 6/10; almost everything is from whatever is taught in class or relevant to it. The grading system is quite fair too. The passing mark in each subject is 30.

Other: The best thing about my course, civil engineering, would totally be the practical. I enjoy every bit of my practical classes; things are explained in such a simple way and taught to us in such a way that everything seems easily understandable. I wish they improved a few lab facilities in the lab, like more machines and equipment for us to use. Also, our semester ends in just 4 months, so I wish we had more time to complete a semester as the syllabus feels rushed during the last moments, making it tough to focus on everything. ICARIA and NOVATOS are the main events.

The ICFAI University, Tripura has a good reputation across the state.

Placements: In my course, a total of 430+ students enroll in the civil department. The highest package was last year, with 14 lakhs, and the minimum average package is around 2.4 lakhs per year. Last year, Ultratech was there for freshmen. Around all students have a chance for an internship.

Infrastructure: The campus is under Wi-Fi service 24*7. Jio 5G is here for entertainment for students. Hospitality services will also be there, separate for boys and girls. Three grounds are on the campus, and a gym is also available. A huge library was provided for all the students.

Faculty: All the faculty are very helpful. They help you all the time when you need them. Exam pattern is different from other colleges. Semester exams are difficult from my view. 30 is the pass mark for all the subjects. Although internals 1 and 2 carry 20 marks.

The ICFAI University, Tripura, is good, with good faculty members.

Placements: The college provides good placements for students. Around 10% of students got an average package in our course, and the highest package is 30,000 per month, and the lowest package is 15,000 per month. All students go through summer internships of 20 days every year. Companies like Ultratech, NTT Data, Design Tech, etc., come here.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are good, but sometimes, it not working well. Labs are good. Classrooms are good with projectors and blackboards. Hostel facilities are the best. The mess is quite good. We have a football ground, basketball ground, cricket ground, park, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members are good in our university. They say everything that is important to us. The teaching methods include presentations. The college doesn't charge any fee for an industrial visit. There is relative grading in the curriculum, which helps weak students to get good grades in CGPA. All though they always help us.

Other: College life and study pattern are good. The university is free from ragging. There are facilities like 24-hours electricity, medical care etc. Every teacher should focus on practical knowledge so that students can easily understand practical ideas about civil engineering.

I'm absolutely dissatisfied. All they want is your money and to pressurise you.

Placements: The placement records at our college are quite impressive, but in civil engineering, they are not up to the mark. All the students have to go through a summer internship of 28 days every year throughout the course. The teachers are a mixture of good, helpful and rude, egoistic teachers.

Infrastructure: At our university, Wi-Fi is available but it is not working most of the time. Labs are good, all the required instruments are present, and there is a huge library to study in and a huge collection of books. The hostel has a good mess canteen where all meals are available. Also, there are many more food carts.

Faculty: I would highly suggest you not take admission to this university for engineering as there is lots of pressure given on the students. The 75% attendance criteria are very tough to maintain, and the students are all forced to just mockup and be prepared for the exams, not for the industry.

Very good institution with good facilites.

Placements: Placement is not upto the mark as only 10% of students get placed from my course with average package 2.5 LPA, the highest 3 LPA and the lowest 2 LPA. Companies like Yatra, Mahindra, Bandhan bank come for recruitment. Most of the student got internship from PWD and ONGC.

Infrastructure: Good facility and infrastructure seperate labs available for each and every courses with 24/7 Wi-Fi facility. Hostel quality average but cheaper to price, Food quality is also average but cheaper w. r. t rate and availabtity, medical facility is available.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, they are also very helpful and friendly behavior. Course curriculum is well structured as final year students get to do much innovative projects guided by high qualified trainers with helps student to become skillful.

Absolutely good University but I'm dissatisfied because of placement.

Placements: In our batch, we have 108 students. Out of them till now only 10 students got placed. 1) 20% student placed till now. 2) the highest salary offered by the company was 12 lakhs & the lowest was 3.25 Lacs. 3) L&T is the top recruiting company. 4) Site engineer is the top role. 6) 40% of students got internship in Sterlite Power.

Infrastructure: (1) Every lab facility is available related to civil engineering. Classrooms are too good. In every classroom, we have digital class facility. Library is open from 9 Am to 6 Pm everyday. (2) ICFAI University Tripura Hostel is the best hostel in Tripura. Here they provide us 24*7 Wi-Fi, Ambulance facility. Mess is very good. Very good quality of food they are providing us. In our campus, we have a football playground, cricket playground, basketball playground, badminton playground. Here we have 2 cafeteria & 1 restaurant which is known as HIDEOUT.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very helpful. They always tried their best to help all the students. All faculty members have knowledge. Teaching quality is too good. But few teachers have too much attitude. They always do partiality between first bencher & last bencher.

Other: 1) From my childhood, I wanted to be a Civil Engineer that's why I choose this course. 2) As per my opinion during teaching, every teacher should focus more on practical knowledge so that student will get the practical idea about the civil engineering field. 3) Our freshers party is named as NOVATOS & the biggest North-East Techno cultural fest named as ICARIA.

A good university, pleasant weather of northeast, and has a peaceful environment.

Placements: The placements are on average. The maximum salary offered was 2 lakhs per annum and the package initially when joined for companies. Almost 60% were placed at Infosys, Genpact, India Infoline, Cisco systems, Star cement, and other companies. BBA and MBA students are also placed in the well-destinated companies. The internship is almost 100% placed in various regions of northeast like Kohima, Guwahati, Tezpur, Dimapur, Agartala Aizawl, Itanagar, Imphal, Meghalaya.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is available in auditoriums and hostels. The classrooms are well-equipped with smart projectors. The labs are well-maintained and well-equipped. There are sports facilities like badminton, volleyball, basketball courts, football, and cricket ground combined with a gym which is separate for boys and girls. The cateen and stationary shop are available on the campus. The mess is available and provides a good quality food.

Faculty: The faculty are well-qualified. The teaching is good. They are always to help and provides time to visit their chambers so that students who missed class or missed something important in the class can be taught again. They are educated, and sometimes misunderstandings happen but even though they are helpful.

Other: The university is free from any ragging. The ragging is banned and prohibited until juniors don't provoke. There are facilities like 24 hours electricity ambulance, and medical care for 3 days a week. There are facilities like bus services for day scholars, canteen for food lovers, grounds and gym including a sports persons, library and separate reading rooms for studying students, the library provides various books, faculty providing pdf, indulging life skills in students, NCC for the students.
