Review of The ICFAI University, Tripura.
Placements: As a 1st year student, I know a bit less about the placements. But as the seniors told me almost 65% of the students get placed in good companies. The highest package is 30 LPA, and the average package ranges between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Academor, Acmegrade, etc. 100% of students get internships from my course. Top role offered in my course is software engineering role.
Infrastructure: We are provided with good quality classrooms with smartboards. Good practical labs are provided. Library facilities are also good. Free Wi-Fi is also provided on the campus. Hostel facilities are good. The rooms are good and the bathroom is also decent. Food quality in the hostel mess is average. Medical facilities are also there on the campus. Sports and games are also promoted here. Many tournaments are conducted on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Everyone here is ex-IITian. Other teaching quality is good. But some teachers don't teach well. Course is somewhat relevant. I would say they make us only 10% industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult. Almost 96% of the students passed.
Other: The best part of my course is that here I will be prepared for future IT jobs and many others. I would suggest providing more good teachers for our computer science subjects. Yearly 2 events are organised. One is the freshers fest Novatos and the grand fest Icaria. The campus remains crowded all the time during the college timings. Scholarships are given to students getting more than 8 SGPA. Many extra-curricular contests are also conducted on the campus.

Truth of the ICFAI University.
Placements: The percentage of students who get placed in my course is 80%. The highest salary package offered in our course is 8 LPA and the average package is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies in our course are basically the IT sector like Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, HCL, Wipro, Infosys, Jio, Tech Mahindra, etc. The percentage of students who got internships in our course is around 90%. Top roles offered in our course are web developer, software engineer, frontend developer, backed developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities like smart boards and a large class where more than 80 students can sit are available. The infrastructure is also good. Computer labs are fully air-conditioned and all-time Wi-Fi is available for all students 24x7. The library is there where valuable books are available for students of all courses. The hostel is good, and they provide basic needs like a bed, a table, a chair, a cupboard, fans, and lights. But the hostel mess food is not good, and the taste of the food is not as per the fees payable. Medical facilities are available on the campus. All kinds of sports are available on campus.
Faculty: In my opinion, teachers are very good, helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. They give us valuable notes in the form of offline written form, PPTs, and in PDF form. The course curriculum is good for me as it provides good subjects in both computer and science, which basically improves our coding and communication skills too. Our semester exams are easy, only by consistency in studies. If students attend classes daily they can easily pass exams. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: The main two fests that are celebrated on our campus are Novatos which is celebrated for freshers and Icaria which is one of the biggest tech fest in our state.

I like The ICFAI University, Tripura.
Placements: The number of students that get placed in our course is 76%. The highest package offered in my course is 8 LPA and the average package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, TCS, HCL, Flipkart, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Around 90% of students got chance of internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure and structure are good. There are well big enough classes which can hold more than 100 students. There are smart boards in every class and fully air-conditioned computer labs. There is a free Wi-Fi connection 24x7 and libraries for every course where valuable books for every student are available. The hostel is good for only to stay and they provide us with basic needs and sports facilities. The only thing that I regret is that the mess food is below average.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good enough. They provide notes in the form of PDFS and PPTs. They usually teach on smart boards. The course curriculum is good but in the first semester, subjects are not good or useless. It makes students ready for only getting placements in small companies. Semester exams are not very hard and can be easily manageable with proper study and regular classes.

A review is written by a student of ICFAI University Tripura.
Placements: I am a 2nd-year student my batch has 160 students divided into 4 sections. There is no official announcement of the percentage of the placed students but I have some connections with my seniors. They told me around 80% of students got placement. There are 30-40 companies are arrive every year for recruitment. Qualcomm, Infosys, Accenture, and Wipro are the top and most well-known recruiters. Some students get jobs. The highest package is 18.5 LPA in 2024, the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and Average is 5.6 LPA. 90% of students got internships in well-known industries in 2024.
Infrastructure: In our CSE department, we have 6 computer labs with high-speed internet connection. Classrooms are well organized. We have an entire building for the library with 4 floors. Our faculty members are also well-experienced. In our hostel, one room is assigned for 2 students. In the mess, the food is good and healthy. A medical room is there for the students. We have huge sports materials the ground is well organized for cricket and Volleyball. There are 3 courts of badminton and also a gym with new generation materials. It is free.
Faculty: Our faculty members are well-educated. They have a lot of experience in teaching. They are helpful. They try their best to explain topics. The teaching quality is also good but I think they have to add new-gen technologies with well-defined syllabi that can help the student become industry-ready. Semester exams are not so tough, questions are may tricky but not tough. The pass percentage is nearly 95%.
Other: I have had an interest in teaching-related topics since my childhood. I believe coding is the most valuable aspect of my coursework. Learning new skills helps us become industry-ready. There are two big festivals, Novatos and Icharia, which are prominent events in North East India. The campus is busy and engaged throughout the day. We have a ragging-free and student-friendly environment. The college offers a 50% discount on tuition for students who achieve a CGPA of 9 or above, and a 25% discount for those who score an 8 CGPA or above. Additionally, students from SC, ST, and OBC categories receive an annual scholarship.

ICFAI University Tripura: A good choice for CSE students.
Placements: In my college around 30% of students got placed in B-tech (computer science engineering). The highest package was offered 8 LPA and the lowest package was 2 LPA, average package was 4-5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Amazon, Microsoft, etc. Around 65% of students from our course got internships in companies like ISRO, Nvidia, HCL Technologies, etc. Top roles offered in my course are cloud engineer, blockchain developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The department has some well-equipped computer labs. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The college has a well-stocked library with a good collection of books. The hostel rooms are decent, the mess food is average. A health center is available on campus. The college provides good sports facilities, including grounds for cricket, football and indoor games like carrom and table tennis.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Most of them are helpful and explain concepts clearly. The curriculum is updated and includes important subjects like AI and cloud engineering. Semester exams are not very difficult, requiring understanding and practice. Overall the course provides a strong foundation for placements and higher studies.
Other: I chose B.Tech CSE because of my interest in coding and technology. The best part of this course is the active coding culture and industry exposure through hackathons. The college hosts technical fests, and cultural events( like Novatos, Ikaria, etc.).
