LNM Institute of Information Technology is a decent college. Placements are good if you are good.
Placements: The first phase of placements took place really well. High packages were there as of now the average package is around 12 to 13 LPA. The reputation of the companies is also good. SLI is also good. Top companies visit including DeShaw, Samsung, and some good campus placements as well such as Microsoft, Amazon, and more on campus. Good companies are BNY as well as Media.Net.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is good and cleanliness as well. The caretaker is decent. One can have fun in a hostel as well. The ducts though don't work up to the mark it could have been improved. The workers who clean the washrooms are not that good. I don't personally like that behaviour.
Faculty: Courses are alright. A few of the faculty members are really good. A few of them are the worst. Some of them are very egoistic. You have to fight for even half marks as well. The grading system is bad. Faculty members are helpful if you go to the cabins and ask for help, they will help you gladly.

Good placements, infrastructure, but tough academics.
Placements: The highest this year was 1.34 croce. Average depends on branch to branch: in CSE it's 15 LPA, CCE 14 LPA, ECE 13 LPA, and Mechanical 8 LPA. Average and median don't have that much difference, like median is just 1-2 LPA less than average, which I have stated above.
Infrastructure: Mess food is average, and all medical facilities are available. Mess food is typically above average. We do get 4 special lunches or dinners each semester, which have a lot of good options. The mess food is okay. If you are non-veg, then it's bad for you as only veg plus eggs are served here.
Faculty: Faculty is, no doubt, highly educated, but some faculty members don't really know how to teach, or maybe we can't comprehend what they want to say? The atmosphere is competitive. Students are also good here, so it's good to take admission in this college if you want good competition.
Other: Fests are good. There are 3 main fests: Vivacity, Desportivos, Plinth, and many sub-fests or you can say events.

My time is great here, but certainly not for someone who can't afford the rapidly growing total fee
Placements: Nearly 75 percent of students out of around 500 eligible students have been placed till this date. The lowest package is 5.5 LPA, the highest is 55 LPA, and the average is 14.5 LPA. MMT, Tekion, DE Shaw, and Sprinklr were among the top recruiting companies. The internship percentage is very low, only about 25 students got internships from the college in the whole batch. Top roles include SDE, SRE, and related roles, in decreasing order of offer numbers.
Infrastructure: All hostels have Wi-Fi, but expect regular interruptions and poor stability. Classrooms are spacious, but the seats have become old and loose. Hostels are now equipped with vending machines by Vending Brother, and washrooms/common areas are cleaned regularly. Mess food is tolerable except for a few days when you're forced to eat out in the canteen area. The canteen consists of a laundry, stationery shop, general store, Amul, and Nescafe, but my beloved Vinayak chaat and samosas got closed recently due to internal politics. Go to the medical unit at your own risk. The gym is recently renovated, but the quality of equipment remains poor.
Faculty: It is very difficult to score well throughout your bachelor’s degree here when compared to other private institutes, even with the same level of commitment and preparation in studies. This is a clear disadvantage in case you need a good GPA for a master’s or post-graduation. A GPA of around 7 here would easily be around 8.5 in other colleges. This is also a contributing factor to why male students here find it really hard to secure a decent off-campus placement.

Fine college to take admission if you want a good campus and facilities.
Placements: My batch was fine, i.e., Y23. The placements were average. The thing is, the college provides 100 percent placement on the website, but only some of the students are applicable to sit on placements. It does not include those who are not applicable, whose CGPA is less. And don't expect ECE core companies; there are too few.
Infrastructure: When it comes to the hostels, the college is pretty good. Hostel BH4 is newly built and even has AC facilities and is in new condition. Facility-wise, the college is decent. Wi-Fi is available in every hostel; one girls' hostel is there, and there are five boys' hostels, including one more newly built hostel, which is small, BH5.
Faculty: The curriculum is pretty hard if you are in the ECE branch. If you are taking this college, you will have to study. Some professors are strict, while some are lenient. There is pretty strict marking too. But professors are helpful; the curriculum sometimes is irrelevant. Many students do not fail.

Review of LNM Institute of Information Technology.
Placements: The placements are decent, the average package right now is 10 LPA, which is good. We do have on-campus placements, and we have a dedicated training and placement cell, but overall, the average package has dropped, as it was around 14 LPA in 2022, but now it is just 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at college is good, we have all sorts of labs, and we have enough hostels for students, but most of the hostels are not well maintained. Other issues are water disruption on a weekly basis, and only a few hostels have Wi-Fi facilities. We have air ducts in most of the hostels and AC in some.
Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified, and most of them are encouraging of hackathons and competitions. Curriculum is a bit hectic, but it is updated and aligned according to industry. The exams are difficult, and it is hard to score and get good grades when compared to other colleges.

LNMIIT is worth the fee.
Placements: Around 80-85% of students get placed in this course. The highest package is 40 LPA for ECE and 1.3 crores for CSE. The average package is 13 LPA with a median of 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Samsung, BNY, Adobe, and MakeMyTrip. I do my first internship as a first-year student in a data analytics role in a company in offline mode. In my course, most students get placed, some in core and some in tech-related jobs. ECE is diverse and divided into various domains like robotics, AI/ML, automation, etc.
Infrastructure: The department infrastructure is good, and a new building solely for AI is under development. Wi-Fi and LAN facilities are available. Labs are well-equipped and have industry-based software and hardware. The library has three halls and a separate hall with PCs. It also has a noise-cancellation media room for shoots. Hostel facilities are average. Boys’ Hostel 4 has ACs and other facilities, but other hostels lack proper renovation and amenities. The quality of food is good compared to other colleges. The canteen area is small with limited options. Medical facilities are free for all and available 24/7.
Faculty: Teachers are available after class hours in their cabins to solve student queries. Students can also reach out to faculty through email. All teachers are well-qualified with PhDs and Masters from IITs and other renowned colleges, with high levels of experience. The course curriculum is a bit basic at the start, but by semester 3, it focuses on company requirements and practical knowledge. The curriculum is very challenging, and grading is strict. Passing is absolute, but grading is relative.
Other: Choosing ECE was not by choice, but as I pursue the course, I realize that 90 percent of students opt for tech-related jobs, leaving less competition in core. The starting package in core is lower compared to tech, but job stability is higher. If one is interested in electronics, they should definitely consider this option. LNMIIT is known for its coding culture. We are exposed to advanced coding from the start, making it easier to secure more job offers. Fests are great and fun.

Q:   Can I get direct admission at The LNM Institute of Information Technology Jaipur if my score in JEE is 300?
A:

No, it is not possible to get direct admission to The LNM Institute of Information Technology Jaipur (LNMIIT) with a JEE score of 300. Direct admission is only offered to the top 2 board toppers of all the Central and State recognised boards in India who publish authorized Merit List indicating ranks. To be eligible for direct admission, candidates must have passed the Class 12th examination with an aggregate of at least 60% marks or equivalent grade.

With a JEE score of 300, you are unlikely to be eligible for direct admission to LNMIIT. However, you can still apply for admission through the Regular Mode through the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) website. However, the chances of getting admission to LNMIIT through the Regular Mode are also very low, given the high cutoffs for the various branches.

If you are serious about studying at LNMIIT, I recommend that you prepare well for JEE Main and try to score a higher percentile. You can also consider applying to other engineering colleges in India.

Q:   Can I get B.Tech CSE in LNMIIT with 94.4 percentile in JEE Mains?
A:

No it is not possible to get BTech CSE in LNMIIT with 94.45 percentile in JEE Main because they require much higher percentile and lower ranks

And if you have any reservation quota then you may get admission in that but not in CSE.

Q:   Is LNMIIT Jaipur entrance exam hard?
A:

The level of difficulty of LNMIIT Jaipur entrance exams varies with the programme. For BTech, admission is based on JEE Main which is moderately tough. Entrance tests for MSc and M.Tech are course-specific but are manageable if prepared. The tests evaluate conceptual thinking as opposed to memory.
