Great infrastructure and faculty with manageable food and water quality.
Placements: Around 70 percent of the students got placed in the mechanical engineering branch in the batch of 2022-2026, including the ones who got into core companies and the software ones as well. The average package is around 10 LPA, with the highest one in core mechanical being 16 LPA for the position of Mobile Robotics. Other roles included R&D and Graduate Engineer Trainee. The lowest package is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Addverb Technologies and Triumph Motorcycles.
Infrastructure: In mechanical engineering, we have a great infrastructure with multiple labs, including a drawing lab, CAD lab for computer-based drawing and other software, hydraulics lab, automotive lab, mechatronics lab, robotics lab, and a dedicated workshop with a nice amount and quality of tools and dedicated sub-sections for various fields within mechanical. The hostels are good with good washrooms. ACs are being installed in hostels, but the main problems are small rooms with triple sharing. The quality of water and food is not up to the mark. There are 8-9 sports options with good facilities. The medical unit is decent.
Faculty: Teachers are very much qualified and very knowledgeable. They address the doubts in the best possible way and encourage new ideas. The quality of teaching is good enough. The curriculum is very relevant and prepares us for industry life as well. The teachers also play a major role in preparing us for interviews. The semester exams are a bit tough. The pass percentage varies from subject to subject with some subjects having pass marks around 10-15 out of 100 and others going up to 40 marks out of 100.
Other: I have chosen this course as I am very interested in the field of automobiles. The best thing about the course is that it teaches us a lot of things which apart from the industry, would help us in our personal lives as well. Also, there are multiple fields to choose from for your career path within this stream. Three events take place every year which have multiple competitions and pro nights. The location of the college is on the outskirts of Jaipur. The travel from and to college is a bit difficult. Otherwise, the college is really good.

LIT College review: Good campus, life, and placement.
Placements: R&D and design engineers get college offers with a variety of placements like a GT role and an SD role for IT engineers. Many companies like Microsoft, Google, and Motorcycles visit our campus and some of them offer full-time roles, and some of them are our internship roles after it converts.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good. We have four hostels on our campus like 44 boys and one for girls, of which one hostel is equipped with AC rooms and the other hostels are preparing to be transformed from a ducting system to an AC system. Apart from that we have a mess and the food is good. Also, we have a canteen facility in our college. We have a canteen, barbershop, and restaurants as well, and the classrooms are also good like they have enough seats for the students and they kind of like the classrooms have enough seats for 200.
Faculty: Faculty members are two hours for students like they are good. Most of them are retired IIT professors and their marking scheme is a little bit difficult for students. The exams are tough to moderate and it is hard to score above 7 CGP, so we are good with that.
Other: Our college has 2,000 students and is spread over 100 acres of land. So it is enough for the students. We only have four students. There is enough space for everyone, and we also have concerts, like three sports phases.

A student-driven college.
Placements: Placements at LNMIIT have been consistently good, especially for computer science and related branches. Around 80-90 percent of eligible students from my course secured placements, while students opting for higher studies or startups were not part of the placement process.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at LNMIIT is one of its strong points. Academic buildings are well- maintained, and there are spacious classrooms equipped with projectors, modern computer labs, and a library that offers a good collection of books, journals, and digital resources.
Faculty: Faculty members at LNMIIT are well qualified, approachable, and have strong subject knowledge. Most professors encourage students to ask questions and focus on developing concepts rather than rote learning. The curriculum is regularly updated and covers core subjects.

A college with tough academics.
Placements: Most students get placed but off-campus placements and on-campus placements are mostly not that satisfying. Placements we can get through references, senior connections are a must for good placements and internships. You must work on your skills side by side to get a good call package.
Infrastructure: There is a new hostel which I had, which was quite good but other hostel rooms are quite small, according to a three-sharing room. There is AC in some hostels only and wardens are friendly cafeteria has very little variety and hygiene is not good. As per me, in the rainy season, with a little fall, it gets all filled with water everywhere, it becomes tough to go anywhere.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and hardworking, always there for students, but the course becomes too hard for a student in too early years. Some teachers go far for students, but some faculty just teach as if they need to complete the course. Faculty could be strict according to different courses, but for ECE, it has the most strict faculty. Exams are the same old curriculum-based.
Other: College is average overall, but I cannot say it is up to the mark.

LNM Institute of Information Technology is a decent college. Placements are good if you are good.
Placements: The first phase of placements took place really well. High packages were there as of now the average package is around 12 to 13 LPA. The reputation of the companies is also good. SLI is also good. Top companies visit including DeShaw, Samsung, and some good campus placements as well such as Microsoft, Amazon, and more on campus. Good companies are BNY as well as Media.Net.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is good and cleanliness as well. The caretaker is decent. One can have fun in a hostel as well. The ducts though don't work up to the mark it could have been improved. The workers who clean the washrooms are not that good. I don't personally like that behaviour.
Faculty: Courses are alright. A few of the faculty members are really good. A few of them are the worst. Some of them are very egoistic. You have to fight for even half marks as well. The grading system is bad. Faculty members are helpful if you go to the cabins and ask for help, they will help you gladly.

Good placements, infrastructure, but tough academics.
Placements: The highest this year was 1.34 croce. Average depends on branch to branch: in CSE it's 15 LPA, CCE 14 LPA, ECE 13 LPA, and Mechanical 8 LPA. Average and median don't have that much difference, like median is just 1-2 LPA less than average, which I have stated above.
Infrastructure: Mess food is average, and all medical facilities are available. Mess food is typically above average. We do get 4 special lunches or dinners each semester, which have a lot of good options. The mess food is okay. If you are non-veg, then it's bad for you as only veg plus eggs are served here.
Faculty: Faculty is, no doubt, highly educated, but some faculty members don't really know how to teach, or maybe we can't comprehend what they want to say? The atmosphere is competitive. Students are also good here, so it's good to take admission in this college if you want good competition.
Other: Fests are good. There are 3 main fests: Vivacity, Desportivos, Plinth, and many sub-fests or you can say events.

Q:   Can I get direct admission at The LNM Institute of Information Technology Jaipur if my score in JEE is 300?
A:

No, it is not possible to get direct admission to The LNM Institute of Information Technology Jaipur (LNMIIT) with a JEE score of 300. Direct admission is only offered to the top 2 board toppers of all the Central and State recognised boards in India who publish authorized Merit List indicating ranks. To be eligible for direct admission, candidates must have passed the Class 12th examination with an aggregate of at least 60% marks or equivalent grade.

With a JEE score of 300, you are unlikely to be eligible for direct admission to LNMIIT. However, you can still apply for admission through the Regular Mode through the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) website. However, the chances of getting admission to LNMIIT through the Regular Mode are also very low, given the high cutoffs for the various branches.

If you are serious about studying at LNMIIT, I recommend that you prepare well for JEE Main and try to score a higher percentile. You can also consider applying to other engineering colleges in India.

Q:   Can I get B.Tech CSE in LNMIIT with 94.4 percentile in JEE Mains?
A:

No it is not possible to get BTech CSE in LNMIIT with 94.45 percentile in JEE Main because they require much higher percentile and lower ranks

And if you have any reservation quota then you may get admission in that but not in CSE.

Q:   Is LNMIIT Jaipur entrance exam hard?
A:

The level of difficulty of LNMIIT Jaipur entrance exams varies with the programme. For BTech, admission is based on JEE Main which is moderately tough. Entrance tests for MSc and M.Tech are course-specific but are manageable if prepared. The tests evaluate conceptual thinking as opposed to memory.
