Review of agriculture department.
Placements: Around 65% to 70% of students get placed, and others have opted for higher studies like MBA or M.Sc. In Agriculture. The average package is around 2.62 LPA. And the highest package is around 9 LPA. The top recruitment companies are Syngenta and Iffco. This college provides 100% internship for all students.
Infrastructure: Our campus has excellent infrastructure and facilities for students. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and there is a swimming pool and a gym for the students. The labs are equipped with modern machines and equipment, which the students can use for experiments.
Faculty: The professors are intelligent and have industry experience as well as experience in teaching. They are also friendly, kind, and helpful. The curriculum is a bit hectic as a student has to study around 10 subjects per semester, including practical.

Placements: 85-90% students were placed in our course. The highest package was 12 LPA, the average package was 2-3 LPA, and the lowest package was 1-2 LPA offered in our course. Top recruiting companies for our course were Macleods, MedPlus, Woodland, etc.
Infrastructure: The library is also present in our department. The classroom is digital. Labs are present in our department for each subject. The university campus is big. Two football grounds are present, one of them small and the other is big.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is not bad. They are ready for all students for the industry interview. Four classes and one practical class are held in one day. Three exams are conducted per semester, one of them minor test 1, a minor test 2, and an end test. The faculty is very friendly and helpful, and they help students with their studies. Teachers help by giving study material, online and offline.
Other: This course helps students for better career decisions.

Faculty support is fair but the infrastructure fails expectations.
Placements: Approximately 95% of students received internships through the university. Internship recruiters included Google Digital Garage (virtual certification projects), HubSpot (internship programs), Social Beat (digital marketing agency), and Local startups (Kolkata-based marketing firms).
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated with comfortable seating. It is equipped with projectors. It has dedicated computer labs with updated systems and licensed software relevant to digital marketing. There is a well-stocked central library with books, journals, and research papers on business, marketing, and management. Seminar halls are there for guest lectures, industry talks, and workshops. There are frequent sessions with industry professionals on entrepreneurship, branding, and digital innovation. We have common rooms and a discussion space for group projects. There is a cafeteria and recreational areas for student convenience. Transport, medical, and hostel facilities are available for students staying on campus.
Faculty: Department has experienced faculty members with both academic and industry expertise. Guest lectures and workshops are frequently conducted by industry professionals and entrepreneurs. Curriculum is designed to provide a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure. They have principles of management, marketing management, financial accounting and business economics, digital marketing fundamentals, SEO and SEM (search engine optimization and marketing) social media and content marketing entrepreneurship development, etc. The course follows a semester system including, internal evaluation class tests, assignments, presentations, and group discussions. Practical components like project work, case studies, digital campaign creation, and internships. End-semester exams include written exams for theoretical subjects. Overall performance is measured through a CGPA/percentage system.
Other: University infrastructure has several shortcoming that affect student comfort and safety. Most buildings lack CCTV cameras, raising security concerns, while the washrooms are hygienic and poorly maintained. Water seepage and damp patches on the walls further reflect weak building maintenance. Additionally, the absence of air conditioning in classrooms makes it difficult for students to concentrate during hot and humid weather. These issues highlight the need for immediate improvements to provide a safe, healthier, and more conducive learning environment.

Placements: In my batch, 85% of students are placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and average is 6.2 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and Accenture. 70% of students secured internships in the same firms. Roles offered are software engineer, analyst, developer, and pharmacist.
Infrastructure: Our department offers smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, and a resourceful library. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms. Mess food is average but hygienic. Medical aid is available, and sports/games facilities support overall development.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, well-qualified, and deliver concepts clearly with good teaching quality. The curriculum is relevant and helps students become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, with a high pass percentage overall.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in healthcare and helping others. Best parts are practical learning and supportive faculty members. It needs more clinical exposure. Campus is lively with fests, good crowd, fair connectivity, scholarships, and active extracurricular activities.

Its a good college recommendation.
Placements: A second year student, I have not entered the placement zone yet, but seniors say the digital marketing stream has decent opportunities. Companies like Infosys, Jaro Education, and Cognizant have recruited from our department. The average package is around 4 to 5 LPA, but internships play a big role in getting noticed.
Infrastructure: The campus is beautiful, green, quiet, and spacious. Classrooms have smart boards and Wi-Fi, and the library is well stocked with marketing journals and business books. There is a digital marketing lab, though we have heaven. I have not used it extensively yet, but I am sure we will be using it soon.
Faculty: The curriculum is industry oriented, with subjects like branding, consumer behavior, and digital analytics introduced early on. We have sessions on Google Ads, SEO, and influencer strategy, which are exciting and relevant. The faculty is approachable and well qualified. Some have real industry experience, which makes a big difference. My marketing management professor, for example, brings case studies from actual campaigns, which helps us connect theory to practice.
Other: The student crowd is diverse, with people from Bengal, Northeast India, and even Nepal. Most students are friendly, and there is a good mix of introverts and extroverts. I have made friends through group projects, hostel life, and club activities.
