If students want to be social engineers, this is the place they want to be in.

Placements: Past records show that whoever opts gets placed. Mostly in the capacity of social engineers in some form. However, if someone is to compare the placements on the basis of the package offered to the pass-outs, then it is not good. However, this is the most action-oriented LL.M. course in India.

Infrastructure: Classes are being run online now with the help of moodles and Tissol i.e. TISS online learning platform. Moreover, students will also get access to the library which has gone online since last year through ...

However, there are some differences between these two programs:
Curriculum: The curriculum of an MBA in HR is more business-oriented and focuses on developing students' management and leadership skills in addition to HR-related topics such as recruitment, compensation, employee relations, and talent management. On the other hand, TISS M.A. In HR has a more social Science-based curriculum, which includes courses on human rights, social justice, and social policy along with HR-specific topics. Programme Duration: An MBA in HR programme usually has a duration of 2 years, while the TISS M.A. In HR is a 2-year programme.
Admission Criteria: The admission criteria for both programs are different. For an MBA in HR, candidates need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline and clear the entrance exams such as CAT MAT XAT etc. Whereas, for TISS M.A. In HR, candidates need to have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks, and clear the TISSNET entrance exam, followed by a Personal Interview
PI round. Career Prospects: Both programs offer excellent career prospects in the field of human resources management. An MBA in HR opens up job opportunities in various sectors such as IT, finance, manufacturing, and consulting firms, whereas a TISS M.A. In HR programme is more suitable for those who are interested in working in non-profit organizations, public sector organizations, social enterprises, and human rights organizations. Overall, the choice between an MBA in HR and a TISS M.A. In HR depends on one's interests, career goals, and the type of organisation they want to work for in the future.
