Students will be skillfully trained and will have an upper hand in awareness of the entire skill set required in Pre- Hospital Medical and Traumatic Emergencies, adaptability to efficiently deliver emergency care, work and operate emergency medical services, and special training in handling Airway, Breathing, Circulation, and Deformity.
The students with PG Diploma in Emergency Medical Services have wide avenues open, with many employment opportunities in provincial emergency and rescue services, private emergency services, the mining industry, as well as international occupational health, safety, and emergency services.
The programme fees are Rs. 120,000/- per annum, with an examination fee of Rs.2,500/- per semester and Rs. 5000 per annum, and a caution deposit (refundable) of Rs.5000.
The programme structure consists of two semesters, with courses such as Patient Assessment and Airway Management, Pharmacology and Trauma management, Medical Emergencies Management, Special Patient Population and Operations, and more.
