B.A. in Mass Communication - Batch of 2021

    Absolutely disappointed.
Placements: The college don't offer any kind of placement or they don't conduct campus interviews. On the name of placement, they only give facebook and LinkedIn screenshots. At the time of admission they tell that they have many tie ups but they don't have any tie up.
Infrastructure: The building of hostel is okay but the facilities they provide are the worst. They don't even offer warm water facility for bath. They also have security issues from backside area of hostel. They don't allow laptops, induction, hair dryer, straightener or charge extra cost for that.
Faculty: Faculty is okay but the HOD of mass communication is the daughter of dean so we cannot utter a word against them. Examination pattern is the worst and they take more than extra time for the declaration of result. They don't even give reply to student's questions.

Whatever the college has provided, it was always excellent, and I hope they continue the same.
Placements: This college has provided many opportunities for the senior and junior batchmates. We got teachers' job as we were from B.A. field. The salary offered was also good, starting from Rs. 20,000 per month. Many students got an opportunity for doing an internship in different colleges. We had a great experience at this college.
Infrastructure: The college is well-equipped with required facilities like sports room, staff room, labs, classrooms, nurse room, etc. Excellent quality of food was provided to the students. Hostel rooms and all the infrastructure facilities were good. We did not face any problem in college.
Faculty: All the teachers of the college were extremely helpful in all the ways, and they were highly-qualified with extra knowledge of their content. They taught the topics in such a way that we didn't face any problem. Many methods were used for teaching the topics, because of it, all the other tasks were made easy for us.
Other: Many colleges are visiting our campus for different competitions. We had good connectivity with other colleges' students and teachers.

A review on my college, Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeet.
Placements: There are good placements in MNC companies like TCS and Fujitsu. Almost 90% placements amongst students. The scholarships are available too in India and Japan as well. It is in collaboration with many Japanese institutions and colleges which offer a wide number of jobs and good placements after graduation.
Infrastructure: There are good classrooms. The college has good infrastructure. The library is available. Projector rooms, conference rooms, and study rooms are there. Floorwise division of each department is done. Especially, there is a designed department only for linguistics. This department is not on the main campus but little far in the main city. Throughout the year, the co-curricular activities are held in the college for the students and their career in the Japanese language.
Faculty: There are good, qualified and experienced faculty. They are helpful in everything. Japanese native teachers also are here to teach. A good number of teachers are available for each department. They are very knowledgeable and are always there to help their students when needed. Good quality education is offered to students in various types of courses.

Really need to improve campus infrastructure and its cleanliness.
Placements: There were no placements for my course. The college has contacts that we can use to build our careers, but placement drives are rare at this college. The college is supportive and will suggest good ideas and give advice. But the student needs to figure it out on their own at the end.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure needs a lot of improvement and food quality is lacking. There's no good ambience in college and zero cleanliness. The games room is not well maintained. And the canteen is too small, which can't fit all the departments. At least the canteen should be clean.
Faculty: The faculty is good but the checking pattern of exams is not up to par. The exams are very easy and the checking is very linear. The teaching quality is okay. It varies from department to department. The grade system is easy and students with backlogs can easily crack exams.
Other: Only 1 event happens in college.
