Rajasthan University released the 2025 merit list for its affiliated colleges for admission to various UG & PG courses. For the General AI category students, the cutoff percentage was 61.6 and 90.4 for admission to B.Sc in Botany at University Maharaja College, University of Rajasthan and University Maharani College, University of Rajasthan, resepectively. So, candidates seeking admission must target higher cutoff percentage to get a seat at UNIRAJ.

The qualified candidates in RULET 2026 have to appear for GD/PI. The RULET Group Discussion and Personal Interviews (GD/PI) are subsequent rounds after the release of the RULET result. Faculty at my time were well experienced.

Placements: Companies like rambhajo, achal jewels, raniwalas, symmetry come and hire the cream from the batch. Starting salary range from 20k-25k. As the college provide dual degree options, I did my graduation i.e. BBA along with 3 years jewellery designing course which gives me an edge over others as I managed to complete two regular courses one from the university as my college was affiliated to university of Rajasthan and another Diploma course of 3 years.

Infrastructure: The college campus has a nice infrastructure starting from the stitching lab for the fashion design students, the metal lab for the jewellery design students and the wood lab for the interior design students and the air conditioned classrooms with Wi-Fi accessibility.

Faculty: Faculty are well qualified and experienced people from the industry. They are really helpful and knowledgeable. Theory as well as practical knowledge is imparted over there. Design class were scheduled after the graduation classes from 10am till 4pm.

Other: Freshers party, Christmas party, Secret Santa.

A good learning institute.

Placements: Arch is a good platform for designers and gives 100% placement opportunities to their students. They also provided me with good internship opportunities. Also, the college has introduced accelerator programme for the final year students to assist them in their startups.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with good classroom facilities, labs, canteen, good food and nice hostel rooms. Wi-Fi, AC, and smart room facilities are provided as well. But there is less opportunity for sports in our college. Also, we are provided with different technical machinery to work with.

Faculty: I appreciate all the information and wisdom the faculty share with us. We are provided with both theoretical as well as practical knowledge including site visits, etc. Also, Arch facilitates us with good and experienced foreign faculty members from different countries. They provide us with professional visiting faculty members for a new and better experience.

Other: The college provides us with a good platform for organising and volunteering in different events and fests. Also, they provide us with a space to represent our college at different levels.

Placements: There are too many options for the placements in this college. It is great for studies and teachers are qualified and are helpful in nature.

Infrastructure: The labs, Wi-Fi, AC room, classrooms, library, sports and games facilities are available in this college. There are too many options to play games such as cricket, football, and too many competitions are also held such as singing, dancing, music, and too many activities were also held.

Faculty: The teachers are too helpful, qualified and are of friendly behaviour. Smart labs and smart classrooms are used for teaching, and all staff are too helpful and familiar to students. A huge library is also available for study. The school is available nearby our college, and I loved it.

Other: Annual fest Ullas is conducted in this college.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, no placement at all.

Placements: There are no placement at all in my college. In my opinion there must be a proper placement cell. In my college there is no proper placement. Students are highly disappointed and they are disappointed with the faculty. I don't like my college at all.

Infrastructure: There are no canteen in my college. Building as well as washroom are not at all good and they are very dirty as well as untidy work. I don't like my college is very dirty inside. Faculty is very unresponsive and it's better to eat outside as there is no canteen.

Faculty: Exams are done annually in our college which is very bad as there is no response from faculty as of now it is very disappointing as curriculum got changed at end as well as there are no semester exams held every time they got postponed and passing percentage is 40% only.

Placements: The camps was quite interesting as we are looking for the Premiere Biotechnology Institutes in India. They provide good campus recruitment to the students of this institution. Various good and big companies come here for the campus placement. Also, they recruit their students in their own institution.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and building of the Dr. B Lal Institute of Biotechnology was quite impressive. It has all the facilities and aspects that an good biotechnology institution must have. Labs are good and having all the equipment and instruments required for basic research.

Faculty: Faculty of the college is good in their respective subjects. Most of the faculty members have done Ph.Ds in their interested fields. Course curriculum and teaching methodology is impressive. Most of the toppers in the university were from the Dr. B Lal Institute of Biotechnology.
