BA course at University of Madras is a three years undergraduate course offered via its affiliated colleges and Madras University Distance Education (IDE UNOM). There are multiple specilisations available for the BA couse including BA in English, BA in Journalism, BA in Defence and Strategic Studies, BA in Economics, BA in Political Science BA in Tamil Literature, etc. Admission to the BA course is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam.
