University Of Madras Hostel Facilities
Madras University hostels are available on all four campuses, including Chepauk, Guindy, Marina, and Taramani. Each campus has hostel facilities for deserving and needy students on a sharing basis. In total, there are 7 hostels to accommodate students, equipped with all basic amenities, such as a bed, chair, table, cupboard, tubelights, fans, and more. All the hostels are supervised by wardens. For the security of the students, there is 24/7 CCTV surveillance at every hostel. Additionally, the University of Madras has a separate guesthouse to accommodate its participants. It is located behind the existing University Guest House at Marina Campus. It has 2 floors and a total of 22 rooms. One room can be shared by two occupants. It features 1 VIP suite and 2 air-conditioned rooms. The guest house also includes a conference hall, a kitchen with a dining hall, and a storeroom. Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this institute is well furnished and properly maintained. Facilities like Wi-Fi, computer labs, classrooms, and a library are provided by the college. The canteen food is very tasty. Many types of sports facilities are available here. Medical support is always present.
Infrastructure: I'm not in a hostel, but I know that the infrastructure is good, and the internet is slow, which is also good because students will not be able to use mobile phones, and that is also really good for studies. In sports, all the things are there, you can perform if you have the skill, you perform, and are selected for the team.
Infrastructure: We are experiencing a good quality of campus life. Good hostel facilities, as a few friends are there, and the complaint is about the food only. We can get good food in the canteen. Also, sports are the best as they give more importance to sports quota students.
Infrastructure: The college provides great hostel facilities for students. For boys, the college gives one room for a single person, and for girls, one room is for 3 persons. Electricity is available 24/7 in the hostel. The quality of food needs to be really appreciated. The college website is fully decorated, and students can register very easily. For accommodation, you pay Rs. 39,000 every year.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. We have classrooms with two big windows for less suffocation, proper tables, chairs, proper fans, and light. We even have our own department's computer laboratory. The variety of food in canteen is less, but it's cooked with quality. My college is well known for its events, culture, and sports. Hostel rooms are pretty good too. We have Apollo Shine on our campus for medical emergencies.
Infrastructure: All transport arrangements were available from our university, so no need to worry about dispensaries and other such facilities. It was a healthy and peaceful campus. There was a specific menu followed by our canteen manager. There was free Wi-Fi on campus.
Infrastructure: The college properly monitors students by pushing us to follow all disciplinary rules. They are giving the severest punishment instead of collecting fines. The first mandatory rule for students is to be properly dressed as per the norms, like trimming, ID cards, uniform, etc., for checking into everyday classes. The campus is sufficient to teach and help students learn professional and life skills.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good. The labs are well maintained and equipped with required hardware, software, and equipment. The classrooms are very spacious. The mess and canteen food quality is satisfactory. Campus has good sports and game facilities.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very modular and clean. The campus is well maintained by the workers and also by the students. The labs are well maintained too, there are no network issues until there is maintenance. The hostel has good facilities, and the infrastructure is very well designed.
Infrastructure: I am not a hostel student, so I don’t know about it, but our college canteen facilities and food quality are very good with affordable prices. Medical facilities are also good. I don’t know about sports or games because I am not a sports person. I gave 4-star rating because college Wi-Fi network is very low.
