University Of Madras Hostel Facilities
Madras University hostels are available on all four campuses, including Chepauk, Guindy, Marina, and Taramani. Each campus has hostel facilities for deserving and needy students on a sharing basis. In total, there are 7 hostels to accommodate students, equipped with all basic amenities, such as a bed, chair, table, cupboard, tubelights, fans, and more. All the hostels are supervised by wardens. For the security of the students, there is 24/7 CCTV surveillance at every hostel. Additionally, the University of Madras has a separate guesthouse to accommodate its participants. It is located behind the existing University Guest House at Marina Campus. It has 2 floors and a total of 22 rooms. One room can be shared by two occupants. It features 1 VIP suite and 2 air-conditioned rooms. The guest house also includes a conference hall, a kitchen with a dining hall, and a storeroom. Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good in our college with greenery and good ambience. The management provides many facilities like free Wi-Fi connectivity, good laboratories, and a well-structured library with a lot of books which are useful. They provide hostels with good fee and healthy food.
Infrastructure: There are decent facilities and infrastructure in our course and department. Good library, decent classrooms, and there is no Wi-Fi for students in our college. There is a decent hostel, good canteen, good medical facilities, and excellent sports facilities in our college.
Infrastructure: There are labs, a very huge library, and classrooms that are well maintained and spacious. The department provides excellent infrastructure. It includes smart classrooms, a resourceful library, and advanced labs. The hostel and mess facilities are average and not that great, but many PGs are available nearby.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is similar to a school, with no proper fans, and the lab facilities are worst, especially in the Computer Science department. The canteen is also not well-developed. The college has old-model hostels available separately for men and women. Sports Day is celebrated once a year, and only prize winners participate in the event.
Infrastructure: I have not opted for the hostel, as I stay near the college but the college has hostel facilities with good rooms and food in a good location. Rooms were offered on a sharing as well as a separate basis and the charges were reasonable and affordable for everyone.
Infrastructure: Everything is so good about infrastructure but we don't have a ground to play. Lab is maintained. The canteen is always filled and the library is open. There are no hostels in our college and medical facilities are available. Wi-Fi doesn't work most of the time. Only vegetarian food is available. People can join this college and no van facilities are provided by the college.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, hi-tech max studio, green and blue screens studio, and FM are available. Studio, animation labs, and hostel facilities are good. The food is good and the college canteen is also good with online ordering. There are more than 3 grounds to practice and have peaceful places to rest.
Infrastructure: Facilities of the college are not bad, but they are very old and could use a lot of improvement. The lab has undergone renovation and is now good enough. The classrooms are often very hot as well. The library collection and the research section are pretty well stocked. I am not a hostel student, but I hear from other hostel students that it is not a pleasant experience.
Infrastructure: This college has all facilities inside and outside the campus. The college is located near Kotturpuram railway station and Cancer Hospital near Madhya Kailash. Inside the college, they provide parking facilities for students and staff. They provide separate parking areas.

It also has a Korean café. There is no Wi-Fi on campus, and only Jio works with poor connectivity. The library is okay. Classrooms are very old. Hostels also look very old. Rooms are small and outdated. There is Wi-Fi in hostels, but the connectivity and speed are poor.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great here, the learning material and labs were amazing. The library is wonderful with a variety of books. The canteen is great, but the mess and hostels need a lot of improvement. The food provided in the mess could be more conveniently available. The sports department is great too.
Infrastructure: The facilities include a computer lab with AC and Wi-Fi, and in the classroom, there are projectors with screens. The classrooms are near and clean, no problem with that. There is no hostel in our college. All students are coming from their own homes. .
Infrastructure: Labs are not well-maintained in my college, and the quality of tables and chairs in the college is not good because a lecture is about 3 hours, and the tables are made of wood. Then we face injury sometimes. The medical facilities are not available in the college, but the food in the canteen is good.

Events were also organised by the college. The Wi-Fi connectivity in college was very good, and the extender also connected.
