Students wishing to join the BSc course at Madras University can fill out an online application from its official website. While submitting the form, the applicant may be prompted to furnish personal, guardian, and educational information besides uploading their compulsory documents and application fee. It will issue a merit list subsequently, considering the past record of academic performances of applicants. Once shortlisted, selected applicants whose names appear on the list are required to pay for the admission fee for the whole course period as decided by specialisation and the college allotted for the confirmation of seats.

The the highest and the lowest package offered during the recent Madras University Distance Education placements stood at INR 35 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively.
