UOU (Uttarakhand Open University) BHMTT Courses & Fees 2026

UOU admission process is both entrance-based and merit-based. Some of the programmes, such as M.A., MSc and BSc admission is merit-based. However, B.Ed and MBA admission is based on a valid score in entrance examination. Interested candidates can fill out the application form in both online and offline modes.

UOU Uttarakhand is not very difficult to get admission at. Candidates must fullfil the basic eligibility criteria provided by the University. UOU Uttarakhand offers admission based on merit and entrance, depending on the level (UG or PG) of course. Candidates must qualify Class 12 or graduation with minimum suggested aggregate.

Courses such as MBA is offered based on the accepted entrance exam such as MAT/ CAT or university level entrance exams. Post shortlisting of candidates based on merit, candidates qualifying respective entrance exam recieve counselling. After the counselling process, final merit list is released and candidates require to get documents verified and pay the respective course fees for final seat allotment.

UOU offers courses in UG, PG, UG Diploma and Certificate levels for the duration ranging from 6 months to 4 years in full-time, distance and open learning. The University offers admission to various UG level courses on the basis of Class 12 qualification. Whereas, for PG level courses, candidates will be required to secure a valid score in graduation and secure valid entrance scores in accepted entrance exams. 

After the application process, candidates will be selected based on valid merit and entrance qualification scores. Post selection, candidates will receive counselling and for final admission a merit list will be released by the University. For final admission, candidates must pay the fees and confirm a seat.

UOU offers BA, BBA, BSc, BCom, BCA, etc., at the UG level and MA, MSc, MA, MCA and MCom at the PG level. Uttarakhand Open University (UOU) is the only Open University established in the state of Uttarakhand with an objective to impart distance learning education at the UG and PG levels. The university offers over 85 programmes at UG, PG and Doctorate levels. UOU admission is merit-based.
