Utkal University offers a full-time B.Ed course for a duration of two years. This course is taught by the University Department Teacher Education. The university admits students on a total of 50 seats. The Utkal University has been recognised by the NCTE, New Delhi and got approval of Govt. of Odisha in the Department of Higher Education. Candidates willing to get a seat to B.Ed course at Utkal University are required to pass graduation with minimum 50% aggregate to be eligible for the course. Further, the university conducts Utkal University Entrance Test to select the right candidates for the course. Eligible candidates will be selected based on their past academic records and the scores obatined in the entrance test.

Utkal University offers a two-year regular course of MBA. Apart from this, the university also offers two other Management courses, namely MBA in Financial Management and MBA in Agribusiness specialisation. Utkal University admission to MBA (Financial Management) course start with filling the application form. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with an aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ST) to be eligible for this course.
