Odisha's best state owned engineering college.

Placements: Placement for UG courses is very good as compare to PG. In my batch only few PG students got placed and it was similar for our seniors too. The average salary for UG lies in between 4-5 lac. Even alumni members are trying to improve its placement facility. A lot of alumni are working abroad or having startup.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is good on a state level college, new admin. block and e-learning building was recently inaugurated and a open theater is also proposed to be built. There is separate mess for each hostels, there are all total 10 fully developed hostel and 2 new hostel is under construction.

Faculty: Course curriculum is up to the mark. A lot of experienced faculty members are there who is guiding the students really in a good way. For UG courses curriculum is very good but it needs improvement for PG courses. VSSUT also provides Ph.D. course in different disciplines.
