I recommend this college.

Infrastructure: There are 7 boys' hostels & 6 girls' hostels. Each hostel has a library and 2 independent study rooms. A volleyball court is in each hostel, and a TT is also in each hostel. The infrastructure & the hostel maintenance are simply wow. They serve us food 4 times a day. Very healthy and hygienic food is served. Each floor has 10 toilets and 10 bathrooms, and they are sanitized daily.

VSSUT Burla: A comprehensive review of infrastructure, faculty, course structure, and placements.

Infrastructure: VSSUT, Burla, offers a well-developed infrastructure. It is spread over more than 500 acres of land. It boasts a central library, well-equipped departmental laboratories, a central workshop, and a central research facility with advanced instruments like SEM and XRD. The campus is Wi-Fi-enabled, and classrooms are often ICT-equipped. Residential facilities include numerous boys' and girls' hostels with modern amenities. The university also provides extensive sports facilities, a gymnasium, an aud...

The college has good infrastructure.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi all over the campus and CCTV security. Classrooms are spacious and digitally updated. The library is good. All types of technology books are available. There are a cricket ground, a volleyball court, and a badminton court present. There are separate hostels for juniors and seniors on the campus.

The college is somewhat good, with good placements, especially for core branch students.

Infrastructure: The courses are somewhat good, but some CS labs lack new technology as they continue to teach on Ubuntu. The hostel facilities depend on which hostel you are allotted. Like in every engineering college, the hostel is just like an ordinary one. The quality of food is somewhat below average.

Good college and the whole infrastructure is being renovated. Helpful faculty members.

Infrastructure: They are renovating the whole hostel. The hostel facility is very good and they can improve the food a little otherwise other facilities are good at the low price of Rs. 18000 per semester. Free Wi-Fi is available. The generator works when the current is cut. The gym is available in the hostels and now they are improving hostel facilities more.

It is a very good government college.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available all over the campus with CCTV security. There are many hostels, more than 20, for students. Classrooms are spacious and digitally updated. Labs are spacious and have all chemicals and apparatus used in the industry. There is a cricket ground, volleyball court, badminton court, kabaddi ground, basketball court, etc.

VSSUT, from where the engineering journey begins.

Infrastructure: Our college has a central internet facility which provides free Wi-Fi to all hostels and also on campus. We have a huge air-conditioned library named UCE Library. All the classrooms are equipped with smart boards and green boards. The labs are good, but the equipment is very outdated. The hostel has a lift, washing machines, aqua guards, a small variety store, a badminton court, indoor chess, etc. The quality of food is decent but edible. Both veg and non-veg options are available. The hostels h...

Absolutely satisfied with the college.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided to us are lacking in some areas. During summer, our classrooms feel like a theater because the fans don't work properly. We have smart boards, but sometimes there are power cuts in the college. Hostel facilities have improved, but the food quality in the hostel. Some days, we get the very worst food to eat.

Decent infrastructure, moderate placements, but limited core opportunities.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are decent, but the infrastructure is still developing with ongoing improvements. Some areas are well-maintained, while others need upgrades. The new hostels are good, offering a decent living experience, but the old ones are quite outdated and lack modern facilities. One major drawback is the absence of a proper gym, which limits fitness opportunities for students. The mess food is served only once per meal and is just average. Not the worst, but far from great. There is little varie...

It is all good. It is absolutely a lot good to read in this college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite brilliant if we overlook it from all around. We can experience various moral values. Facilities are all good, and we have different options available.

Very good for a third-tier and good value for money.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is above average and needs improvement. Classrooms are good, and some hostels have free Wi-Fi while others do not. VSSUT has one library, and each branch has its own library and seminar halls. Hostels provide good quality food, but sometimes the quality gets worse. There is one sports room for badminton, and the volleyball court have one swimming pool.

Overall, VSSUT is one of the best engineering colleges in Odisha, and it is also the oldest college.

Infrastructure: The food quality is good, and hygiene is well maintained. Events like Saraswati Puja, Holi, Diwali, and various others are celebrated in our hostel. All hostels are in good condition and are renovated every 4–5 years. Overall, the hostel infrastructure is good.

1st engineering college of Odisha. Going to be a national-level university by 2030.

Infrastructure: Every lab facility and classrooms are equipped with smart boards. My hostel is Pulastya Hall of Residence and here the quality of food is good as compared to other boys/girls hostels (after Marichi and Kratu HOR). Canteen is available on the ground floor.

Review of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good. Library has an ample amount of books for studies. Hostel life is also quite good around with batchmates. The food quality and the menu are also great but repetitively new. Medical facilities and a gym are also available.

I found from a source that the mess food is great if one is a non-vegetarian. You get chicken 4 times in a week. Mutton is usually served once in 15 days, though it depends on the Mess Secretary. Prawn also has a similar frequency like Mutton.

In breakfast, the idli is great compared to the roadside

I'm not sure on specific PGs (Pay Guest accommodations) and hostels near Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT). There will be some PG options nearby, but I do recommend you to prefer hostels which is more secure and safer when compared with PGs.
