Is VSSUT, Burla, actually good?

Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are well maintained, but the machinery is in pretty old condition and is working fine. The library facility is decent with internet and air-conditioned rooms. Hostels are packed with students in each room, as there is a scarcity of rooms, mainly for the freshers or new students. The mess facility is pretty horrible, as there are regular disputes among the catering and boarders, and the mess food is bad.

Review of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology.

Infrastructure: Food quality deteriorates sometimes, but we have our personal basketball court, we just need proper coaches to teach us. The library is good, but books need to be updated, and our hostel never allows us to visit the library, unlike in IITs and NITs. Wi-Fi was available earlier, but now it's not, so we have to use our own internet.

It is one of the well-known universities with bare minimum facilities.

Infrastructure: Hostels are average, and living conditions are not that bad. Basic facilities are available there. 4 students in a room, which leads to a lack of privacy and unnecessary disturbances. The quality of food is not good, so I'll rate it 2.5 out of 5. Proper sports facilities are not available.

The college has average infrastructure and placements.

Infrastructure: The college has 1 Gbps Wi-Fi, more than 70 classrooms (15 smart classrooms). There are more than 90 PCs, and a 70,000-volume library. The hostel has 12 halls (6 boys/6 girls) with LAN. 4 meals per day are provided. The quality is average with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options. There is an on-campus dispensary, a 400m track, and a gym.

I’m satisfied with the fee structure.

Infrastructure: As a 1st year college facility, is above average classroom and lab facilities, which are good, and a new academic building is under construction. But due to higher admissions this year 1st year hostel is a bit congested, but I had heard that the 2nd year hostel is good.

I love our college and our faculty members.

Infrastructure: Our university hostel facility is very good. It provides very good food quality. The hostel room is very good, and the hostel rent is Rs. 8,000 per year. Our college provides 24-hour high-speed Wi-Fi to us. Various types of labs are provided by the college for different departments.

I like my college and our faculty.

Infrastructure: In our university, various buildings were prepared by different departments, and college authority provided a good Wi-Fi 24 hours a day. Our college had a good hostel provided by government, and provided good food quality to us. The food quality was very good.

VSSUT-the first engineering college.

Infrastructure: The classrooms have a smart board. The library has Wi-Fi connection and AC so that students can read without any problems. The quality of food in the hostel mess is decent. We get 4 times a meal a day, and in the college canteen, one can get breakfast and lunch. The infrastructure of our college is good, and it has enough hostels, around 12 hostels.

I should join VSSUT or otherwise.

Infrastructure: There is a great infrastructure, 450 acres campus. Labs are also well maintained, smart classrooms. The problem is there in the hostel and also a bit in classrooms in summer season, no air conditioning in classrooms, and in the hostel. The food menu is good, but the quality is decent, not so good, but okay, and they have a great exposure to sports.

Satisfied with the college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is pretty good and is improving day by day. A new building is also going to be opened in few months. Facilities in this college are top notch but some classrooms are small. Wi-Fi is available on the campus. The food in the hostel is very good and hygienic.

I recommend this college.

Infrastructure: There are 7 boys' hostels & 6 girls' hostels. Each hostel has a library and 2 independent study rooms. A volleyball court is in each hostel, and a TT is also in each hostel. The infrastructure & the hostel maintenance are simply wow. They serve us food 4 times a day. Very healthy and hygienic food is served. Each floor has 10 toilets and 10 bathrooms, and they are sanitized daily.

VSSUT Burla: A comprehensive review of infrastructure, faculty, course structure, and placements.

Infrastructure: VSSUT, Burla, offers a well-developed infrastructure. It is spread over more than 500 acres of land. It boasts a central library, well-equipped departmental laboratories, a central workshop, and a central research facility with advanced instruments like SEM and XRD. The campus is Wi-Fi-enabled, and classrooms are often ICT-equipped. Residential facilities include numerous boys' and girls' hostels with modern amenities. The university also provides extensive sports facilities, a gymnasium, an aud...

The college is somewhat good, with good placements, especially for core branch students.

Infrastructure: The courses are somewhat good, but some CS labs lack new technology as they continue to teach on Ubuntu. The hostel facilities depend on which hostel you are allotted. Like in every engineering college, the hostel is just like an ordinary one. The quality of food is somewhat below average.

Good college and the whole infrastructure is being renovated. Helpful faculty members.

Infrastructure: They are renovating the whole hostel. The hostel facility is very good and they can improve the food a little otherwise other facilities are good at the low price of Rs. 18000 per semester. Free Wi-Fi is available. The generator works when the current is cut. The gym is available in the hostels and now they are improving hostel facilities more.

VSSUT, from where the engineering journey begins.

Infrastructure: Our college has a central internet facility which provides free Wi-Fi to all hostels and also on campus. We have a huge air-conditioned library named UCE Library. All the classrooms are equipped with smart boards and green boards. The labs are good, but the equipment is very outdated. The hostel has a lift, washing machines, aqua guards, a small variety store, a badminton court, indoor chess, etc. The quality of food is decent but edible. Both veg and non-veg options are available. The hostels h...

I found from a source that the mess food is great if one is a non-vegetarian. You get chicken 4 times in a week. Mutton is usually served once in 15 days, though it depends on the Mess Secretary. Prawn also has a similar frequency like Mutton.

In breakfast, the idli is great compared to the roadside

I'm not sure on specific PGs (Pay Guest accommodations) and hostels near Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT). There will be some PG options nearby, but I do recommend you to prefer hostels which is more secure and safer when compared with PGs.
