I love Vidyasagar University.

Placements: Above 80% of students are placed in our course. Top recruiting companies for MBA are Flender, Bajaj Allianz, Asian Paints, Belstar Microfinance, Shriram Finance, Squareyards, NJ Wealth, Berger Paints, Reshmi Metallics, etc. The average package is 2.5 LPA. There is a 1.5-month internship opportunity for everyone, and it is mandatory.

Infrastructure: There is a good Wi-Fi connection. Classrooms are good, and the library is very good. The canteen facility is reasonable. There is a very huge playground on the campus. There is a doctor's chamber for any emergency and also a medical shop is present. I love my university.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. They are very supportive and very conscious about students' placement. Semester exams are quite difficult to pass but if students study throughout the semester, then they can get good results. The course curriculum is not up to date and I think it must be upgraded.

I am quite satisfied with the placements.

Placements: 1. The percentage of students placed in my course was around 75% of the batch. 2. The highest package was 10 lacs, and the average salary was 4 lacs per annum. 3. The top recruiting companies are Aditya Birla Group, Infosys, Wipro, and ITC. 4. Roles are offered in each specialisation.

Infrastructure: 1. The facilities and infrastructure available in the course are modern classrooms; there is a library; there is Wi-Fi connectivity present everywhere; and there is also a computer lab. 2. The quality of facilities in the hostels is that of comfortable beds and attached washrooms in the rooms, and there are a few sports areas.

Faculty: 1. Yes, the teachers were helpful and supportive and they had a good number of years of experience. The teaching quality was more industry-focused oriented. 2. Yes, the course curriculum was quite relevant and it did help equip the students with the necessary skills in the field.

Decent infrastructure with decent placement.

Placements: The overall placement rate has been 70% for our batch and the highest package that was offered was for Rs 8.9 lacs per annum, while the average package was for around Rs 4 lacs per annum. There are companies that offer quite a bit, like 2 lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: We have good hostel facilities where we have comfortable rooms and basic facilities like washrooms, a study table and a water purifier. With that, we have our block, where there are our classrooms and a quite big library that has a vast collection of books and journals.

Faculty: The exams are divided into four semesters where we have semi-annual exams, and they are said to be moderately difficult. The course is relevant according to industry trends and tries to develop some skills like problem-solving and critical thinking, which are a must.

Best college out here for business study and very good quality campus life.

Placements: The students from MBA most of them got jobs after completing the course or before so there is 100% placement for MBA students, if I can say so but some of our friends try for off-campus jobs as there are high packages from 16 LPA to 10 LPA. The college offers us an 8–7 LPA for freshmen, but that's fine as we are new in the corporate field. The best thing is regular spoken English classes and aptitude tests once a week before the pre-placement year.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is very fast in our college and our college campus is very big, like a massive one, so there is no Wi-Fi available everywhere, and it is not possible to provide a network in parks and lakes, but inside the college campus, it is very good and useful. The labs are very clean with the best equipment, and the classrooms are cleaned twice a day.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and best in their professions. If someone can follow their lectures and notes, which are given throughout the year they don't need to study for the entire year but they can go for some practical knowledge from industry training that happens online or offline.

Other: I chose this course because I am a BBA student and wanted to be a HRM so I studied for it.

Best college located in Midnyapur.

Placements: 90 percent of the students were placed in our course. The highest, the lowest and average packages offered in our course are 6 lacs per year, 3.5 lacs per Lacs and 4.5 lacs per year. The top recruiting companies for our course are Google, Amazon, and Wipro. The top roles are call center representatives in our courses. 80 percent of students got internship from our course and in BSNL, TV, etc.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facilities are very good and all students are using them properly. The labs are very big and in every lab, a computer is available. The library has a reading room and all subject books are available. The classrooms are very big and cleaned every day. The quality of food in the hostel and mess and canteen facilities are very good and sports and games facilities are very good.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable in their subject. The teaching quality was very good. This course curriculum is for 3 years. Yes, it makes the students ready for industries. The semester exams at this college are medium. The pass percentage is 98.

My experience at Vidyasagar University.

Placements: The placement cell is not up to the mark. The college provides on-campus placements only for marketing students and a percentage of the HR students, but there were no placements for the finance students till last year. The average salary package offered by companies like Justdial, Dr Path Labs, Future Group etc., was very low, it was around 2- 2.50 lacs per annum. They offered roles like assistant marketing manager, HR associate, marketing executive, etc. So overall, placements for the last 4-5 batches were not so well, and the percentage was around 40%-45%. When it comes to internships, I believe that internships affect our final job very much. So it's better to do an internship with a reputed and well-known company. But in our university, they don't provide internships for students, and we need to find them by ourselves. Finally, I want to suggest that if a student wants to be capable of finding a good job after MBA, then our university is a good choice because it is a government university. Also, the faculty members are good, and the fee is also very less.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of our university is quite good. It is a government university, but the facilities they provide are just awesome. The total area of our university is 182.75 acres. The whole campus has a lot of greenery and includes a huge playground for outdoor games. There is a well-decorated auditorium for organising the university programs, and there are separate building blocks for different streams which create an ecosystem among the departmental students and culture. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Coming to our department, the classrooms are very good, and the majority of classrooms are smart classes. There are labs, and the labs are hi-tech and well-equipped. There is a central library for students, and both indoor and outdoor sports equipment and facilities are also available. There is a very good canteen where good quality food is available. Medical facilities like doctors, ambulance, etc. are also available for students. Now coming to the hostel, comparing the hostel and its fees, the hostel is just awesome. The rooms are average, but it is good overall. I didn't face any infrastructure related issues till now.

Faculty: Teachers in our university are very well-educated and knowledgeable. All the professors have cracked UGC NET exams and are PhD holders. The guest faculty members are also the same, well knowledgeable and educated. The teaching process is very interesting and understandable. Professors are very helpful and student-friendly, and they guide us well at every stage. The faculty to students ratio is also good, which is 1:6. The only thing lacking is the industry exposure. Students can gather theoretical book knowledge, but they lack in practical industry knowledge.

Other: Every year, lots of events and programs like fresher's welcome, social programs, annual function, annual sports and many more are organised by our seniors on behalf of our university. Different government-sponsored scholarships are also available for meritorious students.

I am totally satisfied with my institution.

Placements: According to the previous batch, the placement is very good in number. Most of our seniors got jobs in various organizations with good salaries. Tata Company, Rashmi Metallics Pvt. Ltd., Navaratna, etc. visited for campusing. In the university, there is a placement cell also.

Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi, labs, classroom Library, Medical facilities, sports Games at Vidyasagar University. The quality of the lab is very good. There are about 40 computers in our lab and the classroom is smart. In the canteen, there are availed various types of foods and the quality is very good and we are very much satisfied.

Faculty: The faculty members of the department are very helpful and friendly. The teaching quality is very good. There is a good understanding between teachers and students. In the class, we learn by projectors and practicals and thereafter our departmental teachers teach us.
