In this college, you should work hard by your self.
Placements: Very few percent of students were placed because in our college only one top company will be recruiting and that is 'HDFC Bank,' so students are not interested in that and there is no internship in our college and the top roles are web developer and assistant manager.
Infrastructure: In this college, WiFi is too slow, labs are available and some other work has to be done there , and classrooms are not too bad; they are okay; sometimes power cuts will be there and hostels; the food is too good for students; and sports would be conducted yearly once that's it.
Faculty: The teachers are too good if you understand them with giving respect and maintaining discipline, and they are knowledgeable and experienced too, and there is no difficult-to-write exam; the semester exams are not hard to write.
Other: To choose this course my brother told me to take this course; it will be very useful in the future so took it. The things that should be improved in our college are that they should maintain timing and discipline for students to come early and attend every class. For extracurricular activities from past 3 years, they have been ignoring BCA students. I don't know why but we never went outside of our college for activities and there is no scholarship provided by college and events will be done, and the campus surrounding is okay, filled with trees and some plants.

I am not satisfied because of placements. Apart from placements, the remaining things are not bad.
Placements: My name is Bharathi, and I completed my bachelor degree in bachelor of computer applications at Vijayanagar college. In our batch, i.e., 2020 batch, there were 50% of students, and it's really disappointing to say about campus placements because we have not attended any campus interview. Every year only two companies visit here to offer placements for our course, and those companies are Wipro and TCS. But for the 2020 batch, none of the companies visited here for campus interviews. Vijayanagar college doesn't provide any internships for students.
Infrastructure: In our department, i.e., the computer science department, the infrastructure is really good. I always love our department and our faculty members a lot. There are two labs, and the infrastructure of labs is good. There is a separate library for computer science students, so you will find every book there. But classrooms are not up to the mark, and they need to be furnished a little. Wi-Fi facility is really very poor, and I have not used college Wi-Fi at least once. Our hostel is really good, and there are two hostels. One hostel is for degree students, while another one is for PUC students and for M.Sc students. I love the hostel environment a lot as it gives peace of mind. In the mess, the food served is really good for students' health and tasty also. There are well-furnished rooms and bathrooms, but the hostel maintenance is little poor. The hostel management should concern more about hostel maintenance. The medical facility is not bad, and weekly once a doctor will visit our hostel. Overall, the hostel is good, and I will give a rating of 4.5 stars out of 5 stars to our hostel. There is a separate sports department in our college and also a separate auditorium. The auditorium is really huge.
Faculty: You will definitely find good teaching faculty members here. They are really good with students and always helpful. Their teaching is also good. The bachelor of computer application course makes students professionals. In this course, we learn many programming languages, including Java and C++. Moreover, we learn basic and advanced concepts of networking, basic concepts of software development and many more. So, this course makes students professionals and also experts.
Other: I chose this course because I love coding, and I love working on computers. So, students who love computers and want to learn about computer architecture, want to become computer experts, a software or hardware developer and a programme can choose this course. There is a separate conference room for the computer science department, and every Friday students perform some technical events like seminars, etc. So, through this, students can improve their knowledge and also communication skills.

Placements: Around 92% of students were placed during the campus recruitment drive this year. The highest package: ?6 LPA Average package: ?3LPA the lowest package: ?1.8LPA Some of the top recruiters were TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro, IBM, and Teach Mahindra. The major roles included Software Developed, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, UI/UX Designer, Cloud Associate, and System Engineer.
Infrastructure: Our department has well-equipped computer labs, SMART classrooms, and high-speed Wi-Fi across the campus. The library is spacious with a good collection of books, journals, and e-resources. There are also seminar halls for guest lectures and workshops. Overall, the infrastructure is modern and student-friendly.
Faculty: Yes, most of the teachers are very helpful and approachable. They are well-qualified and have good subject knowledge. The teaching quality is quite good? Many of them focus on both conceptual clarity and practical applications. Very strict exams and internals .
Other: Chose this course because it perfectly matches my interest in technology and problem-solving. It offers a mix of theoretical knowledge and practical skills that are relevant in today? S job market. I also felt it would open up multiple career options after graduation.

Too good placements and faculty .
Placements: Placements are very nice. A high percentage of students get placed every year. Companies like Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, and DXC Technologies. A good percentage of students get internships in fields like software engineering and data science. Overall, placement is very good.
Infrastructure: Many lab practicals are there for students. The college is good and clean. The college has Wi-Fi facility also. The library is also available for students. Hostel availability is also there. Students are very happy to see cleaned hostels. The food is average but good.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified in this college and are very knowledgeable. They will guide you through the semester and exams. They are very helpful and friendly. Teaching quality is very good and experienced faculty members are available. Passing percentage is 35%. When we have good teachers, then we can easily pass.
Other: I chose BCA because I am interested in IT. I love to development applications.
