Candidates who get admission to the BSc programme at VMOU Kota are required to submit the following documents to the University's admission authority as mentioned below:

• Passport-size photograph
• Signature
• Class 10 marksheet
• Class 12 marksheet
• Self-attested copies of eligibility documents (merged PDF format)
• Migration certificate

AIMA MAT releases the results phase wise. The exam is held in multiple sessions in February, May, September and December phases. So the results are released for all the sessions of a particular phase on the same day. The MAT February result of all sessions are released in March. The MAT May results are released in June and the MAT September result is released in October and MAT December results are released in January. Candidates who appear for the exam, can download their scorecard for their exam session from the AIMA MAT website. AIMA does not release cut offs for admission through MAT. It has no role in the MAT cut off determination. The participating institutes determine MAT cut offs on their own and as per their selection parameters and criteria.

The entrance exams accepted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University are MAT, CAT, and CMAT. Other accepted exams are VMOU MET, and others. Apply early as the seats are limited and the students applying are many.  The approach should be to prepare well in advance for any of the above-mentioned entrance exams for successful admission to various courses at VMOU Kotak.

The BSc programme at VMOU Kota is a three-year, full-time programme offered in four different specialisations as mentioned below:

• BSc in (Botany, Chemistry, Zoology)
• BSc in (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)
• BSc in (Biotechnology, Zoology, Chemistry)
• BSc in Hotel Management and Catering Technology

The fees of BSc course at VMOU Kota is affordable. The government university is pocket-friendly and the fees for BSc programme range between INR 40.1 K to INR 3 Lakh. VMOU Kota BSc admission is entirely merit-based. Candidates seeking admission to the BSc programme offered at Vardhman Mahaveer Open University must pass Class 12 or BAP/ BCP/ BSCP examination from any recognised University.
