Review of West Bengal State University.
Placements: About 5–10 years ago, some journalism students used to get placements. There are no placements now. You have to try different media houses or online news portals personally. The competition is very high to get a good job in the journalism field. However, if you search for a content writer or news reporter job with a basic salary, you will get Rs. 10,000 per month to Rs. 20,000 per month. If you pursue journalism, you might get job roles like content writer, news editor, sub-editor, proofreader, voice anchor, radio jockey, event manager, etc.
Infrastructure: Our university is quite good. We have a very large library. It's a very colorful, beautifully designed, and well-maintained room. All kinds of books are available, and books are kept on shelves in an organised way. We have a study room within the library, and some computers are also kept on one side so that many students can work on different types of projects. We have multiple Wi-Fi facilities on campus. We have facilities to play indoor games like table tennis and carroms. We have a big playground right in front of the university. Many students play football, cricket, and badminton. We have a university hostel, but the food quality is not good. Most students live in PGs. Our classrooms are good and pleasant. They have huge windows. Benches are good and new.
Faculty: The journalism department at WBSU is not good. There were around 46 students in the department. In the first class, we learned we have only two faculty members in the department. Our HOD is not good. She took only one or two classes in the whole first semester. She had taken responsibility for five papers in the first semester, and she did not even teach anything. No one can say anything against her as she is the HOD. Another faculty member is good at teaching. Sadly, he had given only one paper, which he completed way before the exam. He also provided all kinds of study materials. He has taken doubt-solving classes. You will not learn any practical things. You will pass if you are obedient to HOD and study notes from Google. If you are good at communicating, our staff will help you to attend many seminars at different colleges and universities where you can participate as a speaker.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be a journalist, but I did not know the ground rules of WBSU. If you study in a good place where they teach practical things, this course has a good scope. If we had more faculty members, we could have learned so much because we had the facilities to learn practical things like how to shoot, do camera work, edit videos, tell stories, etc. The campus is very good and filled with greenery. It has a lot of space. Our university is far away from the nearest city. Many students have transportation issues. You can apply for SVCM scholarships. You can't apply for multiple scholarships as our university allows only one scholarship per student. You need at least 55% to renew the scholarship next year.

It is a perfect university for higher studies in a perfect location, with good teachers.
Placements: I opted for M.A. English course. After completing this course, my friends and I got placed in a marketing company. Approximately 60% of students got placed in different companies after completing this course, though one has to approach different companies physically. Top recruiting companies are L&T, KPIT, Delta Corp, TCS, Bajaj Finance etc. Top roles offered are human resources, assistant general manager, marketing assistant, support executive etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is impressive. You will love to study here as the environment is so clean, and the location is really good. The university has enough resources and facilities for education and learning, like a huge library, labs, canteen, auditoriums, playground, proper and hygienic washrooms, Wi-Fi etc. Food is tasty and affordable, and no need to go outside. The canteen is big enough and has enough place for students to sit and eat their meal comfortably.
Faculty: Teachers are really kind, supportive and well-qualified. They explain everything in an easy language. Some teachers really helped me understand some concepts that were confusing to me. They treat us so well. This course really helped me get the job I was looking for. The curriculum is properly designed so that one can easily understand what they will get after completing the course. Exams, to be honest, were easy to crack for me. I studied hard and passed with a decent percentage.
Other: I chose this course because I chose English as my main subject in my 12th, and I wanted to make a career out of it. This university is the closest to home. Events, fests, and extracurricular activities are very rare. Different sports are played by students sometimes.

Great University in the Perfect location to Focus & Study with Qualified Teachers.
Placements: Almost more than 70% of students got placements after completing courses from this university. Many students got Jobs in different IT, Banking, etc. Companies. I got placed as a teacher after completing my M.A. English course. Packages vary between 30K to 75K as per the course you take. Some of my friends got even 10LPA. Top roles offered are HR, Technician, Research Analyst, BPO, etc. The top Companies are TCS, INFY, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is well developed and it's getting better every day as more services and facilities are added. We have Wi-Fi, Lab, Classroom, an Auditorium, and a big Library already available with a lot of educational resources. The hostel is decent. The surrounding is very clean & calm. Perfect place to focus & study as the place is calm. Food is good, affordable and hygiene & tasty also as we love eating in the canteen always rather than outside. The playground is available, but not so big. Sports and different games are played by students.
Faculty: Courses are well designed. The course curriculum provides everything in detail and gives a clear idea about what one will get after the course. For me, it was a life-changing course. After taking this course, I improved my English & vocabulary as well. And I got placed as an HR in top company. Then I got a Job as an English teacher. The course was not very. As everything was explained in very easy language and with examples, thanks the Teachers, were very kind and friendly. Exams are taken every 3 months.
Other: I was always wanted to become a teacher. So I choose this English course. And one of my seniors recommends me to this University. The course was well defined. Now it's even better as many of my school students are also taking this course. Nothing to improve I think. Events are very rare. Students and teachers do different activities from time to time.

Perfect campus with clean & calm environment & affordable course.
Placements: Placement are quite good though it is not directly by the college. Students have to approach different companies physically. More than 70% students are placed and established in industry leading companies including me and my friends. I did internship in Wipro and Infosys as a support assistant. Top roles offered are, as per my subject English was, Support Assistant, HR, Marketing Lead, Chief Communication Officer etc.
Infrastructure: I'm really impressed by campus. It is big enough. And it is more than clean and calm. The University has all kind of facilities like Wi-Fi, Labs, Library and have enough learning resources. The food was good enough and affordable. Though it was little hard for me to find the canteen first day. There is a proper ground there for sports and events.
Faculty: The course was designed perfectly well. It helped me get a job in lockdown. The teachers explained every subject in so much detail that every student would understand it. Teachers were well experienced and knowledgeable enough. The exams were taken quarterly and for our course, the passing percentage was 35%.
Other: The best things about the course were it has been recommended by my teachers, my friends, and my seniors. As they were also taken the course and is having a good job. And it was really good. They could improve the Library with some more English course-related resources. Rather than that everything was good.

Good placement, good teacher, and noble teacher.
Placements: A minimum of 40-60% of students got placed. The lowest package was Rs. 2000, including the internship from college. They offered Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 2,500 from this college, the minimum from others. College has excellent reviews with highly competitive companies for courses in testing from other top roles.
Infrastructure: It provided good Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. It had a strong connection. Equity facilities in the hostel and quality food were available. Sports and games were very good. It provided medical facility support for life, and classrooms were near leadership, with minimal facilities for curricular activities. The college is in an industrial area, a minimum of 7 to 8 KM from the bus stand, and 2 to 3 KM from here. In front of the college, Badshah AVN has a minimum range of entrance trains.
Faculty: Teachers qualified for our course curricular activities are good people, particularly in semester exams.
Other: Good facilities are near our home. Even though the fee structure was very good, the campus had many students' extracurricular activities.

Overall, it is a good college.
Placements: Placements are good. Many students are getting placed in numerous reputed private sectors with a standard pay scale.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very satisfying. There is a library for scholars, stocked with excellent books. We've got three labs. Those are the drug lab, the chemistry lab, and the computer wisdom lab. All the labs are well equipped with ultramodern technology. Wi-Fi is also available. The college also provides a canteen with good food at an affordable cost.
Faculty: All faculty members are excellent. They're helpful, good, and knowledgeable. The classes are helpful in making students industry-ready. The difficulty level of the examinations is moderate. Nearly 90% of students passed from this institute.
