Hostels could be upgraded.
Placements: 60 percent of students got placed from my course. Average salary is Rs. 2,500 rupees. The highest salary is Rs. 4,000 rupees the lowest is Rs. 1,800. 30 percent of students got an internship in the best companies.
Infrastructure: In my college hostel, the rooms are in good condition. In the hostel, there's good Wi-Fi available, in the room, there's a fan or cooler available, and the hostel's bathroom conditions are good. In the canteen the food prices are minimal. In the college, there's a big library, good classrooms, and good labs available. There are good outgoing games.
Faculty: The teachers passed the degree with a doctorate. They are very helpful and knowledgeable and their teaching quality is awesome. The courses make students industry-ready. The semesters are medium difficult. 90 percent is the passing percentage in the semester exams. The teachers are the best.
Other: This college is near my house and the course is in budget. More classes. In my college events like Holi and Saraswati Puja are the best events. Scholarship is available when you pass the semester with 60 percent.

RKMVCC a decent college for education and desciplne .
Placements: IIT JAM relusts so incredible so you can get IITs. Also same for TIFR exam and BARC. About 70% of the students get the result and 20 out of 60 ranks between 1 to 100 in IIT JAM Exam. Here is in course coaching for all of the exams including BANK PO, UPSC and WBCS etc.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are top notch. Our college has no hostel. You have to take rent in mess or flats. Food and canteen is here for lunch, tiffin and dinner. Good medical facilities. Sports day is here so you can play regularly. We have a big playground.
Faculty: Teachers ar highly educated and very helpful. Top notch teaching quality. B.Sc. hons course is very relevant in nowadays. And you can apply many jobs directly after completing your course. Between semester exams are very standard no cheating possibility. You have to be very serious.
Other: Only spiritual programs and Science seminars are held.

College life in Acharya Prafulla Chandra College.
Placements: College is not really responsible for placements, but they can help you get contacts in the field. However, a few students crack some top media houses like NDTV and ZEE News Bangla. The college does give you freedom, and there is no such attendance criteria. So you can explore internships and job roles if you want to.
Infrastructure: The campus is small but nice. There are no such good facilities. There's no Wi-Fi, but there are labs. The college is quite old, so classrooms are old as well. I have a good experience, but if you are looking for a Karan Johar college experience, then don't come here. But for fees they take, they provide good facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but in terms of mood. They are good humans, but sometimes very irritable. The course curriculum is relevant. However, if you have the money to afford a better private college, go for it because these colleges provide just the basics. For B.J.M.C, private colleges are way better. The college won't make you industry-ready, but you will have the time to explore careers. The pass percentage is 60%, so you better study well, since they give students backlogs in subject papers.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted a degree that won't pick my pockets. However, if you want to do journalism for passion, go to a better college and don't expect much from the campus crowd. Till 2025, there was extreme politics here. But the college is completely anti-ragging, so it's good if you are soft-hearted.

It is a tier 3 college with old education.
Placements: The college is not up to the mark. Placements and internships are available to every student irrespective of their degree. People are not serious enough about their college degree, and they come to college very infrequently so that they can study for their competitive exams. Some students pursue small side hustle jobs too.
Infrastructure: Students and teachers are not serious about college studies. No one is waiting for their degree to use it, and they all want a job, for which most of the students are pursuing their competitive exam preparation, so the infrastructure is below average here.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but irregular in the college. However, whenever the classes are held, teachers are serious. The knowledge-spreading ability in them is good. The course curriculum is not updated with time. The syllabus is old-fashioned.

The bad and good sides of BGC College.
Placements: As it's a UG PG college, it can't provide placements. It has provided some skilful courses that can help further placements, like web designing, corporate communications, and AI management. They charge a minimal amount for that. So this college doesn't give placements directly, but makes students skilled so that they can use it outside.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good. Some departments have air conditioning facilities, e.g., the electronics department, CS department, etc. The library is of fully A+ quality with a good sitting area and good resources. Labs have enough instruments. The canteen has tasty food, but the hygiene is so bad. The college provides games facilities. There is a big football ground and an indoor games facility. The college gym and swimming pool are under construction.
Faculty: To be honest, some teachers are so helpful, while others are rude and arrogant. They don't know how to behave with students. However, 2 or 3 teachers are not good at teaching. The semester exams in college are a little bit harder; you should study regularly if you want to pass.
Other: I chose this because this college has an A+ grade. The air conditioning in the CS department is not working.

Good facility and placement. Supports an industry-type project building.
Placements: 80 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, the average package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant. 90 percent of students got internships. Top roles offered by this course are as a senior software developer and an AIML developer.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available. They have good labs with proper internet connections. Classrooms have a smart board for better knowledge gathering, and the library also has a huge availability of books with study tables where you can sit and read other books. There is no hostel facility.
Faculty: All teachers are well qualified and full of knowledge, and their teaching capability is outstanding. This course makes students ready for industries with real-world projects. It's not that difficult to get high marks in exams. Here, the average SGPA is 8.25.
Other: Students who have the energy or interest in technology or the IT industry can join this college for better knowledge of how the industry works. Things that need to improve, according to me, are increasing the speed of Wi-Fi and connecting AC to the computer labs. Every year, they organise a hackathon fest, etc.
