Following are the cities where the ICAI CA exams will be held for Final courses. Candidates have to select preferred exam centre in the city of their choice in the ICAI CA Final application form 2026 for allotment of exam centre. The test centre address will be mentioned on the candidate's ICAI CA Final 2026 admit card. Candidates must note that the final decision about the allotted exam centre will be in the hands of ICAI.

It is not at all easy to crack CA Final in first attempt. According to student's reaction of past CA Final exam, it is a very difficult exam. Also, the pass percentage of ICAI CA Final is only 25-30 percent. Students usually take at least 3 attempts to clear the examination.
ICAI conducted CA Final exams for May 2026 session between May 02 and May 12, 2026. Candidates who registered for May session before last date were issued admit card to appear in examination.

Important Points Related to ICAI CA Final Exam Centres 2026

- Candidates must choose the CA test cities for centre allotment as per their residence at the time of exam.
- The preferred test city can be changed only during the CAform correction process initiated by the ICAI.

If a candidate forgets to carry their CA Final admit card to the exam centre, they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Admit Card is a mandatory document of registered candidated. Along with hall ticket, candidates have to also take an ID proof with them. The CA Final admit card is released on official website, at least 10 days before the exam.

How to Select CA Final Test City?

There is no particular number of months for CA Final exam preparation. The time required by one student may be less or more than the other student. It is any way tough to crack the CA Final course level in one attempt. Students require about 2-3 attempts to clear the course level. One needs to study continuously.
Typically, 6 to 12 months are needed to cover CA Final exam syllabus. Those who are pursuing only CA course will need a minimum of 6 to 8 months, whereas working professionals balancing job with CA course will need 9 to12 months. Those who have made previous attempts in CA Final, may be able to cover the syllabus in 6 months. But in all scenarios, one needs to study in a focused manner as the syllabus is vast and requires in depth study. About 2 to 3 months are needed for practice and revision only.

Candidates have to pay INR 600 as late fee to submit the CA Final exam application form after the last date has passed. For candidates appearing for the exam at overseas centres, the late fee amount is USD 10. CA Final late fee window remains open for a limited period of time, which is around 3-4 days after the original deadline. Candidates who do not submit their form even during the late fee window, will not be allowed to submit it later.
ICAI conducts CA Final exam, three times a year - January, May and September. The January & May exams have already been concluded. The CA Final Sep application form 2026 was released on July 06 at official website.
