ICAI application correction window regarding the change in exam centre location has been postponed as fresh guidelines for COVID-19 unlock are awaited. Read here to know more.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) had earlier notified that it will reopen the application correction window CA July 2020 examinations from June 7 onwards. However, the same has been postponed as ICAI awaits the new guidelines by the Government of India for unlocking. Currently, the nation is under COVID-19 lockdown 5.0 until June 30. The central government has issued fresh guidelines for lifting the lockdown from June 8 onwards part-by part. The educational institutions, however, would open from July-August onwards.
The official notification stated on the website is as under-
"The Institute had announced re-opening of correction window for seeking a change of centre between 7th June 2020 to 9th June 2020 vide announcement dated 29th May 2020. As the lockdown position will become clear in the next couple of days, it has been decided that this window be opened after the fresh guidelines are received so that the students can make up their mind and apply for the centre change accordingly. Candidates are advised to take note of the above and stay in touch with the website of the Institute, www.icai.org for the latest announcements/updates."

Candidates have to carry a printout of CA Foundation admit card and a valid photo ID. They can carry any of the following:
· Aadhaar card
· PAN card
· Voter ID card
· Passport
· Driving License

Students should not carry phone, watch, smart watch, earphone, Bluetooth device or any electronic items to CA Foundation exam centre. They should also not carry books. Also, there is no provision of bag deposits at the centre, so they must not carry bag or valuables.

The options to select number of test cities in CA Foundation exam is 3. Students must select their preferred test location in order – 1, 2 and 3.

Changing test city option after release of CA Foundation admit card is not allowed. Candidates will have to appear for the exam at the location mentioned on the admit card only. '
