CA Intermediate Exam Registration Highlights
Before filling the CA Intermediate exam form January 2026please check following:
- To fill the CA Inter exam form, students must have valid login credentials on Self Service Portal (SSP) and a valid course registration.
- If the validity of the registration has lapsed, they must re-validate or convert on SSP at https://eservices.icai.org/.
- CA Course Registration Validity of CA Intermediate is 5 years and the fee for revalidation of CA Intermediate course registration is INR 400.
- Conversion: Candidate whose course code is not as under need to convert to new course before making application. No fees is required to be paid
Intermediate: - For Conversion, use your login credentials of SSP and Go to Student Functions- -> Student Module -->Course Registration--> Apply for Conversion Convert Old to New Course
- Code: NEWINT23 or CONINT23
- Candidates also have to check the quality of photo and signature and upload new ones if required, in the Self Service Portal before filling up the CA Inter exam form.

Yes, candidates can fill the CA form partly before and complete it later but they must ensure to complete the form filling and submission process before the last date so that their application is accepted. The ICAI provides late fee submission facility to candidates for a week, however candidates should submit the form at the earliest, to avoid paying the late fee. Until the ICAI CA exam form is submitted and fee amount is paid, the form will remain incomplete. Thus, candidates must comply by the registration deadline to be eligible to appear for the exam.
Yes, in case you have created login from November / December 2016 CA exam onwards, you don’t need to recreate the login even if you have converted to New Course. You can log in with your credentials and avail the services offered by the ICAI.
In fact, once you have created a login ID for the CA course, be it at the time of registering for the CA Foundation course after Class 10 or 12, or at the time of registering for CA Intermediate after graduation, you will not have to create a login ID again for rest of the course levels and activities.

How to Fill CA Intermediate exam form 2026?
The process to fill the CA Intermediate exam form is online. The application form for January 2026 will be available at the official website of ICAI. Check the process below:
Step 1: Go to ICAI SSP portal: https://eservices.icai.org/
Step 2: Click on login and fill the details as required (New users can use the 'New User Register here!' option)
Step 3: Click on confirmation/declaration and 'Register' button to complete ICAI exam registration

Key Points to Remember while filling CA Intermediate Application Form 2026
- The candidate has to create a login ID on the official ICAI website through one-time registration.
- The username and password will be shared through an email and SMS.
- The candidate has to use the username and password to access the ICAI CA Inter application form.
- The candidate is required enter valid details and fill every mandatory field. Incomplete forms will not get submitted in the portal.

ICAI CA Application Form Filling 2026: Photo and Signature Particulars
- The passport size photo should be injpg/jpeg format and of 20-50 KB
- It should be against white background
- 80 % of the face should be visible including ears
- The photo must have a clear contrast of the image
- Photo with caps/headgears or goggles are not acceptable
- Religious headgear is allowed but it should not cover the face
- Photo wearing spectacles is acceptable.

- Login with your registration ID and password
- Open your CA Intermediate exam form and review entries
- If no editing is required, select “No change required” option

- Make changes and verify with OTP received in email/phone

- After submission, take a print out of the acknowledgement form

CA Foundation Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board are eligible.
Candidates who have:
- Registered with Board of Studies on or before 30 June of the examination year
- Changed to CA Foundation Course with Board of Studies of ICAI on or before September 7 of the examination year.
CA Intermediate Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have passed CA Foundation examination or equivalent examination are eligible
- Candidates who have registered for previous CA Intermediate exam as per syllabus under paragraph 2 or 2A of Schedule B or Professional Education (Course-II), Professional Competence Course and converted into Intermediate (IPC) Course/ Accounting Technician Course (ATC) are eligible
- Candidates who have completed graduation or post-graduation in any stream from a recognised institute of India are also eligible
CA Final Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have passed the CA Intermediate examination or Professional Education Examination – II/PCC/IPCC, are eligible to apply for the CA Final exam
- They must also have completed 3 years or 3½ years or must be due to complete, as the case may be, of article training as on the date of filling the form
- For PE-II stream student and PE-II stream students converted to IPCC – Also, they must be serving the last twelve months of articled training including excess leave, if any, and due to complete 3 years on or before October 31 of the examination year.
- For PCC stream students - The candidate must be serving the last six months of articled training including excess leave if any, and due to complete 3½ years on or before 30th April of the examination year
- For Intermediate IPCC students – The candidate must be serving the last six months of training including excess leave if any, and due to complete 3 years on or before April 30 of the examination year.
- For students converted from PE-II to PCC as well as for students converted from PE-II to PCC and then to IPCC - The candidate must be serving the last twelve months of training including excess leave if any, and due to complete 3½ years articles on or before October 31 of the examination year.
- Candidates who have taken termination are advised to re-register for the balance period of training
The fees for CA Intermediate/ Intermediate (IPC) (Old and New Schemes) is INR 1,500 for single group and INR 2,700 for both groups, to be paid at the time of form submission. Candidates must pay the fee before deadline of form submission to avoid penalty of late fee (INR 600). The fee is non-refundable. The fee payment is to be done through credit card, debit card or net banking. Unless the fee is paid, the course or exam application form will not be submitted. Candidate will receive acknowledgement in mail upon successful transaction.
The time duration of ICAI CA exams varies for each paper. For some papers, the duration is three hours whereas for some papers it is two hours. The time limit of CA Foundation paper 3 and 4 is 2 hours and for the rest of the papers across levels is three hours. There is no sectional time limit in the CA exams. Candidates have to solve the paper in the given time frame. They must prepare in such a way that they are able to solve maximum questions in the given time limit.
The CA exams are conducted one paper per day and there is no break in between. Candidates have to complete the paper in one go.
Yes, the candidates can apply for scorecard verification after the result announcement. The facility is available for all three course levels. The window for rechecking of a particular CA course opens a day after announcement of the result. Candidates can apply for scorecard verification within a month of result announcement along with a demand draft of INR 200 in favour of the Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, payable at New Delhi. The fee is non-refundable and the result of rechecking will be final. Students can’t apply for rechecking more than once.
