Anant National University receives IDA award 2019 for experiential learning

Anant National University (AnantU), India’s first design university, has received the 2019 IDA Education Award for Experiential Higher Education Training. At AnantU, experiential learning takes different forms, including seminars, internships, research, field trips, community-engaged learning, among other educational activities, to inspire students to learn through doing.

At AnantU, experiential learning takes different forms, including seminars, internships, research, field trips, community-engaged learning, among other educational activities, to inspire students to learn through doing. The aim is to not just transfer knowledge but also develop it by providing students with real life skills that represent the demands placed on them in a dynamic, information-age, technology-driven, competitive economy and society. This includes but is not limited to cross-disciplinary skills acquisition, exposure and interaction with other global student communities, international collaborations, and exchange programmes.

The award ceremony was held in Bengaluru at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC).

Candidates who have passed Class 11 and Class 12 with any three subjects-Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology can apply for BTech at Anant International University. The university accepts all Indian and international high school boards. There is no age bar for applicants.

Yes, Anant National University provides internships to its students. In 2024 a total of 90 students were placed in top companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Hitachi, Accenture and many others.
