Difficulty Level
This year's accountancy paper was student friendly. The questions were in favour of students, especially the average child could perform well in the CBSE Class 12 Accountancy board exam.
Topics with Maximum Questions
The paper was a good mix of ledger and journal and leisure change of all ledger queries, variation from earlier journal entries is welcome as it gives students an inclination towards both the aspects and ensures that they study them well.
The twist in the debenture question which was done for the first time was good and gave food for thought to above average students.
The preparation of balance sheet question in company accounts could have included more concepts of forfeiture etc.
Test Pattern as Compared to Previous Year’s Papers
Compared to last year’s paper which was high in difficulty level this year’s paper was simpler and could be completed in time.
The last year’s paper had very lengthy one markers as well which isn't a welcome option. One markers should be as per the time that a student needs, not to debate over complicated applications to waste time.
