University Organises Discussion on Union Budget 2020

February 20, 2020: A live Budget conference for undergraduate and postgraduate students was held in City Campus on February 1 by the School of Economics and Commerce, CMR University (CMRU). The details of the Economic Survey Report were given to the students before the lecture. The aim of this live telecast was to provide students with an opportunity to understand the importance and aspects of the budget, its highlights, tax policies, GST cutbacks, etc. The BCom and MCom student actively participated in the live telecast and made notes for analysis and interpretation.

Global Immersion Programme by School of Architecture

February 13, 2020: For sixth semester students, CMR University (CMRU) – School of Architecture carried out a six-day study trip to Bali. The global immersion programme intended to give students global exposure to understand their business practices. The students attended Green School and were introduced with Bamboo to different construction techniques. Workshops on bamboo joinery, model making and musical instrument making were organised for the students. In Ubud and around, students also explored local architecture, visiting villages, temples, markets and historic landmarks in the city.

CMR University Hosts Convocation Ceremony

November 4, 2019: CMR University held its fourth Annual Convocation on November 3 for all passing out students of the same year. Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka Dr Ashwath Narayan was invited as Guest of Honour. He assured the students that this is an important stage of their lives and careers as they have been caring for a long time, and only now do they have to get out of the open and stand up.

Atharva School of Engineering and Technology admissions are open. The college has not released any last date of admission untill now. Students can apply as long as the admissions are ongoing.
