Extracurricular Activities in Jagannath International Management School

There are seven major societies in which students can participate & showcase their talent in JIMS Vasant Kunj.

Jagannath International Management School has a great record of placement and students perform well in their studies; along with this the institute also focuses on extra-curricular activities. There are a number of clubs & societies in which students can participate. Currently, there are seven major societies in which students can participate & showcase their talent including Rotaract Club, NSS, CII Yuva, ECO Club, E-Cell, Prabhandan Club, and Digitek- Digital Branding Team & societies include Fitoor- Western Dance Society, Apertura- Photography Society, Aakriti Journalism Club, Swara- The Music Society. All the students have to go through an audition to get selected for their respective societies & showcase what unique they can bring to the table.

Rotaract Club

The Rotaract Club is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Delhi Imperial & comes under the Rotaract International District 3012. The projects commenced by the club include Women Empowerment, Swachh Bharat Summer Internship Program, Literacy Programs, Swachhta Abhiyan & other valuable projects.

National Service Scheme

The NSS- National Service Scheme of JIMS VK works with a vision to build the youth community to serve & work for social upliftment. The aim of NSS is to identify the needs and problems of the community. The community is responsible to develop a sense of civic & social responsibilities, social harmony & national integration.

CII YI Yuva

CII YI Yuva bridges the gap between opportunities & future leaders who wants to make the nation a better place. The club enhances the knowledge & creativity of young minds with new ideas that help the youth to become leaders. 

ECO Club

The ECO Club helps in enhancing awareness, knowledge, and exposure to the environment's needs. Faculty members & a fully student-driven initiative to create a powerful impact on the ongoing environmental issues support the club. 

E-Cell

The E-cell is proposed to promote & build entrepreneurship in the campus communities. The aim of creating an E-cell is to build knowledge and creativity, enhance skills & promote innovation. The E-cell helps students to promote their business ideas to Angel Investors, Venture Capitalists, and Industry Leaders.

Prabhandan Club

Prabhandan Club is the management club of JIMS Vasant Kunj, created with an aim of Creating Future Leaders. The objective of this club is to make students ready for leadership roles & building the right skill sets among them. The club is responsible for managing events, conducting seminars, lectures, corporate training, & personality development.

Apertura

Apertura is the official videography & photography society of JIMS Vasant Kunj. The society provides a platform to those students who are interested in photography. The society conducts a 'photo feature' based on a theme every month to encourage talent among the youth. The Society has its own page in which all the results & selected photographs are showcased.

The Digitek- Digital Branding Team

The Digitek-Digital Branding Team handle the overall marketing of JIMS Vasant Kunj. Students who are interested in digital marketing, content writing, & video editing can be a part of this society. There are several advantages of being in the DIGITEK Team including team bonding, preparation for corporate culture & growth.

Aakriti

Aakriti club is a journalism society established with an aim of 'shaping self', set up by the BA(JMC) department. The society conducts various contests; recently the society organised a meme-making contest in which participants were supposed to make others laugh with their humor within the given categories.

Swara

Swara is the musical society of JIMS Vasant Kunj. The team members participate in various fests including the GGSIPU official fest called Anuoonj. Students can also participate in group or solo performances.

Fitoor

Fitoor is the dance society of JIMS Vasant Kunj, especially focused on western dance. Society keeps on organising various contests in both online & offline mode so that interested students can showcase their talent.

Pratibimb

Pratibimb is a drama society of JIMS Vasant Kunj. The drama society keeps on performing sketches, skits & drama on various social issues & comedy.
