Established in 2011, Gondwana University is a state-level university, located at Maharashtra. It offers approximately 50 courses at UG, PG and doctoral level in full-time mode. The University follows the semester-based academic schedule and its academic session is divided into two semesters, (summer & winter). Gondwana University conducts the semester-end examination and supplementary examination in the month of January-February for summer semester and in July-August for winter semester.

Gondwana University Result 2020

Gondwana University declares the semester results on its official website. Students can check their end semester examination result by following the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Students first need to visit the official website of Gondwana University (www.unigug.ac.in)

Step 2: Scroll down to the ‘Online Services Quick Links’ Section available on the home page

Step 3: Further, click on ‘Results Winter/ Summer’ link

Step 4: The result login page opens up where a student needs to select the exam name and enter the roll number and mother’s name. Hit ‘Search’ button

Step 5: The semester score along with the result status will get displayed on the screen. You can download the result or take a printout of the same for future references

Gondwana University Marksheet 2020

Once the results are declared, students need to collect their mark sheet from the exam cell of the University. The mark sheet of Gondwana University consists of the following information:

  • Candidate’s name
  • Exam centre name
  • Exam centre code
  • Father’s name
  • Mother’s name
  • Gender
  • Date of birth
  • Category
  • University roll number
  • Examination name
  • Duration of the exam
  • Exam date & time

Gondwana University Evaluation 2020

In a particular semester of a course offered at Gondwana University, a student has to appear for six theory papers and two practical papers. A student needs to score a minimum of 35 per cent aggregate separately in theory, practical, and internal assessment examinations. The minimum and maximum marks allotted to each indces is listed below:

Internal assessment: It is coordinated by the course coordinator. The internal assessment marks compromises of at least four activities of the following: Home assignment, Class test performance, Seminar, Case studies, Group discussion, Fieldwork, Study tour, Paper presentation, Book review, or Involvement in departmental/ college activities.

Letter Grade Evaluation:

At the end of each semester, students are awarded a letter grade to each of their subjects taking into account the performance based on various components of evaluation, including internal assessment and end-semester examination. The grade making scheme followed at Gondwana University is tabulated below:

Grade Point Evaluation:

The University assesses individual courses of concerned examinations based on marks obtained by the students in a particular subject. The conversion scheme used by Gondwana University is listed below:

  • GPA for a semester = ∑iCiGi ÷ ∑iCi

GPA is the sum of the multiplication of grade points by the credits of the courses divided by the sum of the credits of the courses in a semester.

  • CGPA for the entire programme = ∑n∑iCniGni ÷ ∑n∑iCni

CGPA is the sum of the multiplication of grade points by the credits of the entire programme divided by the sum of the credits of the courses of the entire programme where,

Ci = Credits earned for course in any semester

Gi = Grade Points obtained for course in any semester

n = Semester in which such courses were credited

Gondwana University Revaluation 2020

For students who are not satisfied with the results of the current semester and want revaluation can fill the respective application form to get their scorecard revaluated. The application for the same should be filled within one month from the date of the result declaration. The form can be obtained from the examination cell of the University. The duly filled application form along with the prescribed non-refundable fee needs to be submitted back to the office within five days from the date of issue.

Application fee for issuing photocopy of answer book is Rs 300 per copy and for revaluation, it is Rs 150 per copy. The same shall be paid in cash or DD drawn in favor of “Finance & Accounts Officer, Gondwana University Gadchiroli, payable at Gadchiroli”.

Gondwana University Reappear Exam 2020

Students who fail to achieve a minimum of 35 per cent aggregate separately in theory, practical, and internal assessment examinations, has to give a reappear exam. The reappear exam is held in the next consecutive years. Such students need to fill the application form and submit it back with an exam fee of Rs 500 to the exam cell of the University within stipulated time from the date of release of reappear exam form.
