IFMR GSB Placement: Average annual package offered to students stand at Rs 9.6 lakh
Placement season at IFMR Graduate school of Business, KREA University (IFMR GSB), Sricity looks impressive as 90 per cent of the batch of 2020 has already received placement offers with leading corporates.
Average remuneration of Rs 9.6 lakh per annum reported so far is an increase of 10.5 per cent from last year (average salary Rs 8.67 lakh p.a; highest was Rs 18.8 lakh p.a). This is the second batch of outgoing students who are being awarded MBA degree from IFMR GSB, Krea University. Top recruiters include JPMC, Deloitte, E&Y and Infosys, CRISIL, Credit Suisse, Accenture, HDFC, Nielsen, Temenos, Federal Bank, Société Générale, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Citi, RBS, Wipro, Barclays, Bank of America, Sammunati, Philips, KPMG, Genpact and HCL among others.
“Out of a total of 185 students, 32 received Pre-Placement offers, while many received attractive offers during campus placement period. The 10 week long Summer Internship, enabled our corporate partners to evaluate the interns and make these offers and for the first time we are offering additional upgrade offers for the deserving students” said Shreenath Ramamurthy, Head- Placement, Career Services and Corporate Relations.
Apart from the flagship positions in Quantitative Finance, Research Analyst, Financial Modeling, Wealth Management, Credit Rating, Risk financial Modeling & Research this year the campus witnessed offers in Sales & Marketing, Relationship Management and other non-finance domains like Consulting, ITeS, Manufacturing, FMCG, Telecom & Media.
Admission to IFMR GSB two-year full-time Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree is open. Last date to apply for Working Professionals Round (WPR) is February 4 and for General Round is March 3. IFMR GSB offers MBA degree in Finance, Marketing, IT, Operations, HR, and Strategic Management, with additional specializations in Banking Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) & Data Sciences (Business Analytics). Application form is now available online.
Various scholarships based on merit and merit-cum-means are offered to students.
