Christ (Deemed-to-be University) campuses have a well-established placement cell which provides training and placement opportunities for the students.

Christ (Deemed-to-be University) was founded in 1969. It is a deemed university with its main campus in Bengaluru, Karnataka. There are 6 campuses of Christ University in Bangalore, Delhi NCR and Pune. It is a UGC-recognised and NAAC-accredited college. The university has over 800 faculty members and intakes over 25,000 students every year. It offers UG, PG and research/ PhD programs at each of its campuses. Christ campuses provide a culture and well-equipped infrastructure to promote academic and cultural activities for the holistic development of the students. Christ campuses have research facilities, libraries and information centres. IT services are available on the campus to provide WiFi to the students around the campus, research labs for each department on each campus of Christ, one main auditorium with a large seating capacity and state-of-the-art facilities, mini auditoriums, amphitheatres, open-air theatres and galleries, six-academic peer-reviewed journals, and CHRISTITE magazines. Each campus has hostel facilities separately for male and female students. The campuses have many cafeterias which are available for day scholars and hostellers. An NCC Cadet program is run by Christ which is open for both male and female students. Each Christ campus has a number of sports facilities available like Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Cricket, and Fitness centre. 

Internship at Christ University

Christ University provides opportunities for the holistic development of their students and hence mandates an internship experience during the tenure of the courses in order to provide a hands-on practical experience to the students in the real world. It should be a minimum of 30 days and a mentor is allotted to the students to guide them through the process. The university does not provide internship opportunities directly, but the placement representatives elected from each batch reach out to different companies to get internships for the students. The students are given an opportunity to apply to different off-campus companies of their choice for internship opportunities or choose to sit in the campus-provided opportunities. The process of selection for an internship requires going through the process of application submission and interviews to get placed in the companies. The students are given orientation for proper conduct at the workplace. The students are required to work under a coach in the organisation. They are then expected to submit a report and give presentations to display the knowledge and skills gained during the internship. The students are given internship opportunities to work in different areas and sectors.

On-campus Internships at Christ University

Christ provides in-campus internship opportunities to the students. CAPS (Centre for Academic and Professional Support) provide academic and professional support to the members of the university. It conducts Summer Internship programs for the Christ students in different areas like content generators, operations, event planners, scriptwriters, graphic designers, User Interface Designers, Photographers, Cinematographers, and Video Editors. CAPS conducts an internship program for over four weeks. After the successful completion of the program, students are awarded an internship certificate. The selection process of the program is through the submission of an application form along with the choice of area of interest. The candidates are asked to submit their CVs. After careful screening of the questions and answers given by the candidates, the faculty members of the CAPS conduct a face-to-face personal interview with the candidates. The selected students are intimated through email and sent their offer letters. 

Placement Cell at Christ University 

Christ (Deemed-to-be University) campuses have a well-established placement cell which provides training and placement opportunities for the students. The elected placement representatives of each course work along with the placement cell to organise development and training programs for upskilling the students professionally. The final year students are given the opportunity to sit for placements with companies coming for recruitment. Placement Cell provides opportunities and training to increase the professional development of the students to train them better for employability through resume-building skills, group discussion and interview skills. They also organise visits to companies and sectors for the students to explore career opportunities for graduates and postgraduates. 85 recruiters visited the campuses during the 2022 recruitment drive conducted at Christ University. Companies visiting the campus include Morphe Labs, Tekion, AB InBev, Salesforce etc. for placement opportunities with the highest CTC offered as INR 20 LPA.
