February 26, 2020: Manav Rachna University - MRU has announced the dates of National Film Festival to be held in March 2020. The event will be held between March 6-7. Students of both undergraduate and post graduate programmes from various institutes and universities are invited to participate. The theme of the festival is “Womenhood”. It will represent woman as a symbol of all the five elements of nature, including Space, Air, Fire, Water and Earth.

University to Organise National Film Festival

February 26, 2020: Manav Rachna University - MRU has announced the dates of National Film Festival to be held in March 2020. The event will be held between March 6-7. Students of both undergraduate and post graduate programmes from various institutes and universities are invited to participate. The theme of the festival is “Womenhood”. It will represent woman as a symbol of all the five elements of nature, including Space, Air, Fire, Water and Earth. This power of women is important to acknowledge. In the coming years, much needs to be done for women's empowerment. The media is undoubtedly the most successful weapon for this goal and can play a key role in transforming the image of women. This festival aims at encouraging young aspirants to make films, documentaries in general and women issues in particular.

Guest Lecture on Data Privacy Session

January 31, 2020: Computer Science and Technology department of Manav Rachna University - MRU University organised a guest lecture on Data Privacy Awareness & its impact on the Indian Scenario. The lecture was intended for BTech CSE students and faculty members. Institute invited Associate Director of Cyber Risk Advisory Services, Deloitte Kartikeya Raman to facilitate the lecture. Raman talked about General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its seven principles for legal treatment of personal information.  He spoke briefly about how personal information is collected, organized, structured, stored, altered, used, communicated, combined, restricted, erase or destroyed. Raman is an experienced information privacy and security professional.

University Inks MoU with Quick Heal Technologies

December 30, 2019: The Manav Rachna University has signed a agreement with Quick Heal Technologies to offer BTech Science and Engineering course from the coming academic session 2020. Student will have the benefit to choose from specialisations such as Cyber Security and Threat Intelligence Program. The curriculum aims at preparing employable workforce to bridge the gap of expert requirement. It will be driven by industrial experts from Quick Heal academy and will include Tech-Talks, Seminars and Webinars. Quick Heal shall also provide students who pursue the programme with placement and internship support.

Yes, Manav Rachna University does accept CUET scores. While the university primarily considers the MRNAT score to shortlist students, it also considers other exams. CUET along with JEE, CLAT, UCEED, etc., are all accepted for admissions.
