Mumbai University Exams 2021: Mumbai University has directed all the affiliated colleges to complete Mumbai University Exams 2021 for all PG Courses by March 10, 2021. The varsity has also asked the affiliated colleges, that along with MA, MCom, MSc exams, they have to upload the scores on the varsity's portal within five days.

Mumbai University in its notice earlier on February 17, said that many teachers and students have opposed the conduct of postgraduate exams in less than one-and-a-half-month, without completing the mandatory 90 days teaching period. As per reports, many colleges have wrapped their admissions by January end.

While speaking to a media house, a teacher said, “The circular has been issued now, practically telling colleges to hold exams in few days, if they are to complete them by March 10. It is unfair on teachers and students too. Some courses require time for practicals. MSc-IT practicals can be online, but there is no time to complete it.”

However, an official of the varsity exam section said that many colleges had already completed their admissions early and the dates of the exams were fixed accordingly. Those colleges and departments where admissions have been delayed can seek an extension from the varsity.

Meanwhile, Mumbai University has allowed all affiliated colleges in the city barring the ones in Mumbai city and suburbs to reopen from February 16 onwards. The decision was taken by the University after it received confirmation letters from collectors of Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Thane rural, and other districts with MU-affiliated colleges.
