Excellent place to learn professional photography with great exposure and a creative atmosphere.
Placements: Most of the students from our batch received great placement opportunities. Around 80% of students got placed in reputed media and production houses. The highest package offered was around 8 LPA, the lowest around 3 LPA, and the average package stood at 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included production studios, digital media agencies, wedding photography firms, and fashion brands. Many students also got internships in well-known studios and advertising agencies. The top roles offered were Photographer, Cinematographer, Creative Director, and Photo Editor.
Infrastructure: The campus has an excellent infrastructure with fully equipped photography studios, Apple Mac labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and professional camera equipment for practical learning. The library is well-stocked with film and photography-related books. The hostel is comfortable and hygienic with all basic amenities. The food in the canteen is decent, and the mess maintains good quality. Sports facilities and medical care are also available for students, making the campus experience comfortable and productive.
Faculty: The faculty members are very supportive, experienced, and professionals from the film and photography industry. They focus on both technical and creative aspects of photography, ensuring students gain real-world knowledge. The curriculum is industry-oriented with practical workshops, exhibitions, and live projects that prepare students for professional work. Exams are moderately easy if you attend classes and complete assignments regularly. The pass percentage is quite high due to the balanced evaluation process.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion for photography and to learn from industry professionals. The best part of AAFT is its balance between theory and hands-on practice. The regular workshops, outdoor shoots, and guest lectures enhance real-world understanding. I wish the college could provide more international exposure or exchange programs in the future. Fests and cultural events here are memorable and give great opportunities to showcase talent.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, but strongly dissatisfied with the management department.
Placements: It's a great experience of placement, but it also needs a few developments in the management of the placement department. They have to support students after placement also, internally they can connect with HR, and they also have to make a COC with the company's policies, which benefits the students as well as the employers.
Infrastructure: Things were almost good, but they have to bring some more equipment. Wi-Fi is not working properly, and the network is coming to the Institute. The internet is very important when we edit or create some creative content online, even in today's day-to-day life. AI is an essential thing that we can't access without the internet.
Faculty: The course is relevant because we get to connect with industry people and get work as well. Teachers are very helpful, but also they are very helpless because the Institute is not supporting teachers in terms of their new ideas, which helps students connect with information and knowledge, which is most important in the photography field.
Other: Almost a great experience here.

You will do good, if you are dedicated.
Placements: If I have to give a ballpark of the placement numbers, I will say they are below average in some courses at the college. Though the placement cell is effective in grooming and training the students to be well mannered and prepared for the interview, the quality of placement is still low, and there are not a lot of companies that come to interview the students, but I am rating the placement average due to the collective efforts of the placement cell and faculty to get every student placed, even at a very high package.
Infrastructure: In the duration of 6 semesters, the photography studio was changed 4 times and every time some or the other issue was at hand, that was a drawback in efficiency. Hostels are not as good as I have heard, and I never dared to visit that facility. The college is a very small campus, but the faculty is good and is teaching the students very well with the limited resources that they have. In the span of 3 years that I have spent at AAFT, the facilities of my course have been improved except for a few issues. Everything will be fixed in the coming years, I feel.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is great, and the behavior of teachers towards the students who are willing to learn is actually great. Of course, there are nuances in every class and the perspective of students, but yes, it is worth it. You will learn a lot if you are willing enough; the course is relevant; most teachers will teach you beyond the given curriculum; and some teachers have made me industry-ready. The exams are easy enough and the pass percentage is standard.

Best college for special courses.
Placements: It's good, above 60%. Honestly, the top can go up to 12 LPA, and the top roles that have been offered to my batch are senior photography at a big firm. Not gonna lie, but in a market like this where the competition is too much, they give the best campus placements.
Infrastructure: Don't know about the hostel, but the college's infrastructure is better than good, but too small for a college. New classes, library, and canteen are too good. They can add more things like indoor sports like TT, pool, chess, etc. 'Cause I know people are doing what they love but can use sports to relax.
Faculty: Faculty is better than good; some are the best. Exams are not too hard, but again, these are practical courses, so assignments matter more than exams. They are very precise about their assignments, but the discipline can improve. There is something that might need some attention, like I got my ID card in the second semester.
Other: Crowd is okay, what I like is the friendly environment on campus.

A very average college for art and media .
Placements: Only 10-20% students got placements but even they are not satisfied. The lowest package offered in this course was15000/month and the highest was 50000/month but no one got selected in those interviews. Big boy toyz is the best company visiting our college but the interviews were not conduct for that, I don't know why.
Infrastructure: The old building is really very old, the classes are not maintained properly, there are no medical facilities and the canteen is always crowded. There is only APL conducted in a year which is a sports league tournament. Labs have computers which are not working properly and there is always some problem or the other.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful while the others just maintain their profiles. Some of the teachers have brilliant knowledge but the senior teachers don’t push them forward. The management is the worst in this college. There is not a single notice of the students which is received on time.
Other: There are no extracurricular activities and no campus trips are organized.
