B.Tech Colleges accepting CBSE 12th in Maharashtra

While comparing the COEP and JSPMU, it is seen that the admission process of both is pretty same. The students must have passed 12 Class with a science stream to get admission in both. Both the universities accept exams like JEE/MHT CET for taking admission in BTech. The JSPM university offers 11 specialised subjects with approximately 1140 seats, while COEP offers 10 specialised subjects with approximately 758 seats. But the score requirements for entrance test are different in both the universities. COEP is a government university, the competition is higher to get admission, while in JSPM university the admission is easy as it is merit based.

The total fees to pursue BTech courses from the Government College of Engineering include all the fee components to be paid by the students to complete the programme. As per the fee structure, students are mainly charged with three components: tuition fees, hostel fees, and a one-time fee. Pune University (UniPune) fee is cumulative of multiple components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, etc. Some of the fee components are charged one-time, while some have to be paid semester-wise or annually, such as tuition fees. The tuition fee for BTech at Pune University ranges between INR 75,000 and INR 15 Lakh. The fee amount further varies depending upon the chosen BTech specialisation. Candidates must note that this fee is sourced from the official website of the institute/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.

To check the RTMNU cutoff 2026 go to university website that is nagpuruniversity.ac.in or affiliated college websites for merit lists which is usually released after 10+2 or qualifying exam results. For specific courses students can check admission notices or the state common entrance test like MHT CET portals for cutoffs. 

Candidates seeking admission should first check that they meet the eligibility requirements. The applications are accepted of candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent with required minimum aggregate. Admission to its BE programmes is done based on marks in accepted entrance exams. The course aspirants can apply with a valid score of JEE Main/MHT CET or other national-level exams (as per JSPM guidelines). Candidates can register or fill out admission enquiry form available on the official website. After application scanning, a cutoff list may be released along with provisional merit list. The merit list students can confirm their seats by paying the admission fee amount. 

The seat intake for BTech CSE at SNDT College is 60. BTech programme is offered via the SNDT's affiliated college Mittal Institute of Technology (UMIT). BTech admission is based on candidates' performance in the national and state-level entrance exams such as JEE Main and MH CET.  Computer Science & Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Data Science, and, Artificial Engineering are the BTech specialsiations offered.

The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering and Architecture. All the courses are offered under the departments of civil engineering, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, production engineering, general engineering, chemical engineering and architecture.

Admission will be conducted through the counselling under Maharashtra Engineering Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
