Engineering Colleges accepting JEE Main for B.Tech in Aurangabad

Maharashtra Institute of Technology offers around 11 B.Tech courses whereas College of Engineering, Ambajogai offers only two B.Tech courses and many more B.E courses. The placements offered at Maharashtra Institute of Technology seems better compared to College of Engineering, Ambajogai as MIT offers better packages. Yes, Indian national candidates must pass HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together to apply for BTech course. The preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non-zero positive score in JEE Mains Paper-I over the candidates who obtained a non-zero score in MGMU-CET/ MHT CET/ PERA CET. Aspirants who have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% aggregate 40% aggregate, in case of Backward Class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) can also apply for the BTech course. 

According to NIELIT Aurangabad JEE Main cutoff 2025, the General AI category cutoff stood between 46118 and 57153. Only CSE and EE cutoffs were published by the institute. Between these two, the highest cutoff possess by BTech in CSE at a Round 3 closing rank of 46118. Likewise, for the OBC AI category, CSE remained the most competitive course at a closing rank of 18150.
