RGIPT BTech in CSE curriculum is divided into semester-pattern. Additionally, students are also required to either go for an industrial visit or are required to make a project. Yes, IIT Kanpur also offers an option of a dual degree, i.e., Bachelors-Masters Dual Degree to the students. A student earns both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree at the end of this five-year course. The dual degree programme has three categories:

• Category A: In this case, both degrees are in the same discipline/department. Example: BTech-M Tech.
• Category B: This is a two-discipline/ department programme where the bachelor’s degree is in the parent discipline/ department and the master’s degree is in a different discipline/ department. Thus, three combinations are possible in this category, ex: BTech-M Tech, BTech-MS and BTech-MDes. Students can choose any one of the aforementioned combinations. 
• Category C: In this case, the bachelor’s degree is in the parent discipline/ department and the master’s degree is MBA. Ex: BTech-MBA.

For Amity University Noida BTech integrated tracks, sponsored category applicants receive a relaxed eligibility criteria of 55% marks. This lower requirement applies to the combined five-year dual programs containing engineering and management subjects. 

Once the MMMUT counselling process is over, selected candidates must report to the university for document verification purposes. Such candidates are required to bring along the following documents:

• Class 10 marksheet
• Class 12 marksheet
• Migration certificate
• School leaving certificate/transfer certificate
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Income certificate (applicable for candidates seeking admission via EWS category)

MNNIT Allahabad BTech offers multiple engineering branches such as Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, and Chemical Engineering. Earlier, Information Technology was also offered but it was discontinued five years ago.

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida, BTech admission is conducted in three different modes. To get admission in the BTech course, candidates can choose any one admission procedure as per their qualification. There are three admission modes:

Direct mode: Candidates are offered direct admission based on their score in the Class 12 exam. Candidates must score 75% marks or equivalent, in aggregate in three subjects, i.e., Mathematics, Physics, and English. This may apply and can be confirmed with the institute.

JEE (UG): Students can also apply for the JEE exam. Common University Entrance Test,  also known as JEE UG,  is a national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission to UG courses offered by participating institutes. Students should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board in Science or a relevant stream to be admitted to bachelor's degree programs in the Central Universities.

Lateral-Entry: Candidates are required to have a valid qualfication and appear for the Lateral Entry Entrance Test for admission to BTech course.

The NIET Noida cutoff varies for each BTech specialisation. The most competitive cutoff in 2023 was for the BTech in Computer Science and Engineering course - 228214. • INR 1,000 for Male unreserved, OBC, EWS category candidates
