IIT Goa provides various programmes and specialisations to students. These courses are available in different streams. For obtaining IIT Goa admission, candidates are selected on the basis of entrance tests. NIT Goa follows the eligibility for admission follows the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. For BTech courses, at the time of admission, the candidates should have passed/ appeared and awaiting results of the final examination of the Class 12 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects of study. Additionally, the candidates must have secured at least an aggregate of 75%. The selection process for BTech at NIT Goa completely depends on the JEE Mains scores achieved by the candidates'. 

BITS Goa offers BE equivalent to BTech as an undergraduate programme. The institute offers overall a decent package. According to media reports, the highest package and average package offered during BITS Pilani Goa placements 2023 stood at INR 60.75 LPA and INR 30.37 LPA, respectively. The fees for the BE program are approximately INR 19.9 lakh which is a good return on investment in comparison to the highest package offered. 

BITS Pilani is duly recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) and has been accredited with an ‘A' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
