The placement team of IIT Goa is primarily focused on assisting students in developing their ability to assess opportunities and understand the actions, decisions, and information necessary to transform a job opportunity into a significant career milestone.
IIT Goa placements was concluded for the Class of 2024 with 90.60% placement rate. The overall average and median package offered during IIT Goa placements in 2024 stood at INR 15.41 LPA and INR 11.5 LPA, respectively. A total of 161 recruiters participated in the 2024 drive and selected 116 students of the BTech and MTech Class of 2024. Out of the total 116 students placed, 98 were from the BTech and 18 from the MTech batch 2024. IIT Goa Placements Report 2024
The training and placement wing of the IIT Goa looks after the training and placement activities on a full-time and continuous basis. The institute invites companies from different sectors to conduct the interview process at the Campus premises. IIT Goa has a unique system of a long-term internship in the BTech curriculum. Students can take up challenging internships in industries, academic, or research institutes during their 8th semester lasting from Jan to June. These types of internships make students industry-ready.
Recently, IIT Goa has concluded the placements for the BTech and MTech Class of 2024 with a 90.60% placement rate. 3. Future Perspective: The third important factor of deciding the best branch of IIT Goa is to think about the long-term goals.
