A strong infrastructure, placements, and supportive faculty members - A worthwhile CCSE at VRSEC.
Placements: For the 2021 to 2025 batch at VRSEC Vijayawada, 81.12% of graduates secured job placements. The highest package reached 44 LPA, and average salary is around 5 LPA. Top recruiting includes Infosys, IBM, Deloitte, NTT Data, Virtusa, Capgemini, Amazon, Cisco, Microsoft, TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, and PayPal. For internships, about 40-50 % of students received offer letters. The primary roles are associate/advanced senior, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Hostels (725 = capacity both boys and girls) single/double groomed attached toilets, study lamps, laundry, 24X7 power backup, reading areas, wired Wi-Fi via 40 Cisco access points. The mess canteen serves both veg and non-veg. The 24-acre campus offers high-speed Wi-Fi across all zones.
Faculty: Faculty members are mostly qualified, supportive, and accessible with many holding Ph.Ds and industry backgrounds (including NIT and IIT training). The curriculum is industry-aligned. Semester exams are moderately tough, updated regularly with input from experts and include hands-on experience.
Other: NSS, NCC, yoga, dance, music, freshers, and fests are held for 3-4 months. It has a vibrant social environment.

Review of our college Siddhartha.
Placements: The placement scenario for my batch (2025) in the information technology department is quite promising. Around 80-85% of the students are successfully placed by the end of the final semester. The average package hovered around 6.8 LPA which is decent for a tier-2 college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for information technology is quite decent and improving each year. All classrooms are equipped with projectors, whiteboards, and proper ventilation. The department has access to Wi-Fi, although the speed could fluctuate at times. The computer labs are fairly modern with up-to-date systems and reliable internet connectivity.
Faculty: Faculty members in the information technology department are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most professors hold M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees, and a few have industry experience as well. They are approachable during college hours and even after classes, especially when it comes to doubt-clearing and project guidance.
Other: I chose information technology because of my interest in programming, data structures, and understanding how software systems work in real-world applications. The course provided a good balance between core computer science subjects and applied IT topics, such as web development, database systems, and cloud computing.

Yes, you can get CSE in VRSEC with your 8700 rank in EAPCET. VRSEC is a private college in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. It offers admission to various courses through EAPCET. The cut-off for CSE in VRSEC for EAPCET is 8500. As your rank is 8700, you are eligible for admission to CSE in VRSEC.
