Selection Rounds
ABESEC selects students through entrance and counselling process. Apart from that, direct admission is also offered through a specific selection criteria. Find below the detailed steps:
- Entrance-based: For entrance-based admission, ABESEC selects students through scores of entrance exams such as CUET UG, CUET PG,GATE and JEE Main for respective courses. The exam qualifiers can participate in the UPTAC Counselling process.
- Direct Admission: Partial seats are filled through direct admissions. Candidates are selected based on scores of an institute-level test, followed by a PI round or through Management quota.
Counselling Process
After the commencement of the selection rounds, candidates must register for UPTAC Counselling process, which is conducted by AKTU. The final seat allotment is done based on the UPTAC counselling.

No, candidates cannot register for UPTAC counselling for BTech admission at ABES without their Class 12 board exam scores. UPTAC counselling does consider Class 12 board exam result alongside JEE Main result when allotting seats to candidates.

As you know these colleges are affiliated to aktu university Uttar Pradesh.
And for direct admission through management quota you should have to fulfill certain criteria:
Minimum 60%+ in P.C.M in 12th
Jee Mains should be mandatorily given. (Only for cse, cs, ce, it that is not core branches )
