Talking about placements, the college is satisfactory but the infrastructure needs to be updated.
Placements: ASCOMS is a private medical college. Although the counselling is done by JKBOPEE. There are 100 total seats. Around 10 seats are reserved for NRI and 25 for P&B. The PG selection ratio is good owing to the less patient flow, so the interns get more time to prepare for PG entrance. The fee for OM students is Rs. 5,69,000 per annum.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure needs to be upgraded. Our college is upgrading it. They have installed the latest quality panel and stuff, but still, there is a lot of work to do. One pick point is that they need to install air conditioners everywhere which are not in place now.
Faculty: Our faculty members are satisfactory. They always help students. They are qualified enough to get students a degree. The college follows the new CBME issued by the NMC. It is affiliated with University of Jammu, so they conduct exams yearly basis.
Other: Extracurricular activities in the college almost tend to zero. There are no sports weeks and other such things at all. I think the only event that happens is the fresher's day. It is on a small scale.

Satisfied because it was a great experience that I will never forget.
Placements: Almost 10% of students got placed. Almost 95% of students did their internships in ASCOMS, and the rest by reference in Srinagar or other locations. Students didn't get a stipend during the 1-year internship.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. Good labs, and clean and air-conditioned classrooms are available. There is a sports section in college, and various activities are conducted during the sports week. On regular days, you can play different sports. I was a local student, so I didn't enroll in the hostel facility, but I heard from my friends that it is average. Food is like in any other hostel, tasteless.
Faculty: The teachers are good and quite experienced in teaching. All our HODs are retired from the government medical colleges in Jammu and Srinagar. Teaching quality is good. The course is relevant and quite tough, so a student has to work hard for all 5 years to get good marks.
Other: I always wanted to be a doctor, so I cleared my JK Combined Entrance Examination MBBS. But as 2 marks are less to be eligible, I got a merit seat in ASCOMS through the government quota. Everything that I learned in ASCOMS made me grow in life as a good doctor. Moreover, a good human being. My campus life was great, and I miss it. The teachers and batchmates were good and helpful.

Good teachers, location and placements. But lacking in some ground.
Placements: Although I am currently enrolled in the MBBS course of the college, the placement percentage, as I am aware, is quite high and satisfactory. A junior resident working in a government hospital can earn anywhere between 30k-60k, depending on factors like the state/UT, the hospital, etc. Private hospitals may even more. Internship is mandatory and everyone get to do it in under any medical college in the state.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at ASCOMS is not upto mark, as compared to other privately funded medical colleges in India, not a blame though because the fee is also less as compared to those. Wi-Fi is available in places like hotel, library etc. The labs of some departments are outdated, but in subjects like pharmacology, it is well maintained. Classrooms are probably not the best part of the college, most of which require an upgrade, it is only since a years back that they have starting to incorporate projectors, etc. Hostels are the worse part. Unlit corridors, not-so-clean washrooms and mess has very limited number of dishes with not that good of a quality. Although that is the case with boys' hostel, girls' hostels are a bit better. There is a sports week once a year, and that's it.
Faculty: The faculty are good. Most of the teachers are very helpful and quite inspiring. Course curriculum is mostly set under NMC, so there is not much of difference. Such a course along with the teachers does make the students industry ready. We have a good study environment here.
Other: I want to become a doctor and I guess that is the reason I am here. The best thing about it is that we get to be a part of a very big people-serving community, we get to help people by treating them and that gives me the real motivation. I'd say that we need better libraries, hostel facilities and classrooms. The overall atmosphere at the college is exceptional, as it is situated at a very scenic area. We get to go to Euphoria - Chandigarh, Pulse AIIMS New Delhi and a trip to Goa. Other that these, there are educational visits under social and preventive medicine to places like Red cross society, MET department, water treatment plants and so on. For scholarships, we are mostly dependent on the government.

Absolutely sattisfied with college, placements are 100 percent, value of money is also good
Placements: 100% placement Lowest package 64 k Highest pack 125 k Govt hospitals in delhi, mumbai, chandigarh and other metropolitian cities 100% students get paid internships as it is compulsory Medical officer is the top role offered after you are done with MBBS and the intership
Infrastructure: Library acess from 9Am to 9pm Wifi available in campus Classrooms are decwnt Labs are also decent Facilities in hostel are just okay okay Quality of food in mess is not that good in boys hostel Canteens have good quality of food Medical facilities are topclass as it is a medical college Sports and games are given good attention by the managing bodies and are also being played by students at competitive level
Faculty: Yes teachers are extremely briiliant, and quality of teaching is awesome, teacher work very hard along side with students themselves Course curriculum is absolutely relevant,nd makes students industry ready We have years wise exam and are quite difficult, pass percentage approaches almost 99%
Other: Doctors are well respected and earn well as well, the best thing about course is you get to see patients during the course period itself Attendance should not be the criteria to get able to sit in examination Events fest etc are made like freshers party, white apron ceremony etc extra circular activities are also given a good attention

A pretty decent college for completing an undergraduate course.
Placements: A decent bunch of people secures PG seats in clinical branches in the state itself (e.g., surgery, orthopedic). Less work to do in internship and more study time. Seniors are helpful. You can also go for a medical officer post if you want. A good college for studying without any distractions.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is old and needs improvement. Labs are an old standard. Hostel rooms are not worth the money they charge. Mess and canteen are good. Sports like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc., are available. Yearly synapse takes place like Pulse Euphoria.
Faculty: We have good teachers with a lot of experience. Some are retired from GMCs and working as professors. or an HOD role after retirement. The teaching quality is above average. Attendance is a must. Exams are easy, some might find it tough, though. Almost all the professors will help you to pass.
