B.Tech. in Petroleum Technology - Batch of 2021
3.4
Petroleum technology is not good at this college.
Placements: The college provides 100% internships. A student scored 92%, which is the highest. The college offers courses like drilling technology, reservoir engineering, production engineering, well logging and technical hub. Placements are fair. Last year LNT visited only, but a few members were taken.
Infrastructure: Lab facilities are good, and the infrastructure is excellent. In the library, we found many books, and the library was amazing. The college is very clean with a pollution-free campus. Medical facilities are good, and sports are amazing.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, but they lack experience. Teaching quality is amazing, and students need to study extra courses to be industry-ready. We have to do internships by helping industrial agents.
Other: I have chosen this course because the course is very easy as compared to other courses. We need technical knowledge to enter into this course.

Faculty members don't spend time with students.
Placements: Currently, there is no demand for the petroleum branch. If you are interested in pursuing petroleum engineering, I suggest this college is the best to pursue B.Tech in that branch. But in this college, there are no placements, no jobs, and you will only get a graduate certificate. They only provide internship in various companies.
Infrastructure: Our college facilities and infrastructure are very good. Classrooms and labs are very good, but there is no Wi-Fi facility in our college. However, the library is good, and the food served in the hostel has very bad feedback. However, it is the best college for hostel life. The best food is served in the canteen, but more fees for hostel students.
Faculty: Our course curriculum is very good. Mostly all the teachers are freshers. Even one teacher also doesn't have industrial experience, and we should only do hard work and gain some knowledge. This college only provides petroleum engineering at low fees. I am dissatisfied with the teaching.

Placements of the college were good.
Placements: Placements of the college were good. Many students get placed in different companies. Every year, almost 60% of the students get placed. The college provides internship opportunities for the students which help them for their career.
Infrastructure: NAAC has awarded the college with B+ grade by inspecting the labs and the equipment which were wonderful. Those labs and equipment are very useful to gain knowledge. The libraries have a very good collection of books written by different authors.
Faculty: The course curriculum is designed by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and is perfectly designed. The faculty members of the college are highly experienced and have good in-depth knowledge of their subjects. They help students by sharing their knowledge very well.

A good college with better infrastructure and good environment to study.
Placements: The college provides placements for the students of various courses. There are placements for our department also. Majority of seniors are now either employee or working in various companies. The lowest salary package offered for the students of petroleum field may be Rs. 20,000-30,000 for trainees and more than Rs. 50,000 for new employees per month. The scale of wage may be as high as Rs.10,00,000+ abroad per month with exciting holiday offers. The college placement cell helps the students by providing new job opportunities.
Infrastructure: The facilities available in our college include big and neat classrooms with projectors. Wi-Fi facility is provided for students to surf or browse the internet. A huge library is available with a vast number of books, Wi-Fi and computers to connect to social media. It is helpful for the students to do projects and seminars. Labs are exceptionally good with good instruments. There is a medical team to cure serious medical issues, and an ambulance is also available. Various canteens provide tasty food for the students.
Faculty: The teachers in the college are well-qualified and highly knowledgeable. The quality of the teachers and their teaching are exceptionally good with zero complaints. Apart from the knowledge related to subjects, they can speak English fluently. The teachers strictly follow the syllabus and teach us in such a way that we feel the tough subjects very simple. The main teaching method they use is to make us understand each topic. The teachers in this college have many years of experience. They are very helpful and kind.
Other: Blood donation camps are conducted several times a year.

The best for a middle class family to opt and to get education.
Placements: The placements were good and there were no placements for our branch which is Petroleum technology. It will be good if, even we are given the opportunity to face an interview more than a selection. It gives us a better experience for the future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is 100% fine and I swear no college will be like that. Of course there are some minor issues but they are covered. It is superb in sports, support from the physical education department, library. The college is well-maintained and it is good.
Faculty: For Petroleum Engineering and technology I can't say that the faculty is not experienced or well familiar with the subject but they can manage the subject. This graduation course in engineering is not at all good.
Other: Previously, fests and events were held but not now. The campus crowd and connectivity is good. The campus has good surroundings and it's the best I've seen.

The college is like a jail.
Placements: There are no placements provided in our college. It is just a course with no placements. This is the worst thing we are facing in our college without any placements for petroleum technology. Maybe, I think there's no chance to get petroleum companies for offering jobs in our college, it is impossible because it was the worst college, no student has never and ever experienced in their life.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was good to look from outside, but if we dig deep into the depth of our college, labs, classrooms, faculty, rules, etc., are the worst things that every student was facing. The huge trouble was in the hostel, it has no maintenance, no proper rules, and food is the worst.
Faculty: For our petroleum department, the faculty were good to understand the students, but there were some problems to teach as their teaching skills were not enough for us to understand their lectures. Somehow, our faculty were the best to understand and help us in studies and other activities.
Other: There are no other extracurricular activities in our college. Until now, I have never experienced a fest or a programme done in our college. Nothing was there to enjoy or to celebrate.

Good faculty, infrastructure and facilities are available.
Placements: In our college, products are very professional and productive, so there maybe placements available, there are many other opportunities that you can use like the technical hub, Microsoft innovation centre and other stuff which gives us a lot of knowledge.
Infrastructure: They provide excellent infrastructure and water facility for students. The library consists of many books. Thanks to our chairman Sri N Shesha Reddy. The infrastructure keeps on upgrading on a daily basis, by a short period we will produce solar energy to run a college.
Faculty: The faculty members remind us about the army of Kurukshetra. The chairman, Sri N. Shesha Reddy leading his son, administrative, non-administrative, teaching and non-teaching faculty in passion which they are not faking, but are actually trying to teach us what life is all about.

A good college with a clean and secure environment. Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Due to the downfall of the oil field, there are no placements for the petroleum technology students. Some of our seniors got a job in GSPC, ONGC, GAIL. If oil field gets the previous status surely, we can get placement. Every year, there is 85% placement for all students. Except for petroleum technology, other branches are getting 90% placement.
Infrastructure: There are clean hostels, hygienic food, open Wi-Fi, fully equipped laboratories, well-qualified faculty, sports, NSS, fully secured college. The campus is maintained very clean. Technical fests, cultural activities, Microsoft innovation centre are available. Every class is a digital classroom.
Faculty: There are well-qualified faculty. Every faculty member holds minimum M.Tech and PhD. Faculty are very helpful and highly qualified. The way of teaching is extraordinary. We gain knowledge and subject from the faculty. Internships are also provided by the college. Industrial visits are also provided.
