Key Factors Affecting AP EAMCET Ranks
The important factors that determine the AP EAMCET Ranks are provided below.
1. AP EAMCET Difficulty Level
The difficulty level of AP EAMCET varies every year. If the exam is difficult, the overall scores of the students will reduce; therefore, the scores needed to get a top rank will also be low. Conversely, if the exam is easy, many students will get a high score, therefore, increasing the competition to get the top rank.
2. Number of Candidates Appearing For AP EAMCET
If the number of candidates appearing for the exam is high, then the chances of getting a top rank are low. Fewer candidates means a slightly better chance of getting a better rank with the same score.
3. Qualifying Exam Marks
Since there is a 25% weightage given for Class 12 marks, candidates who get a better score in Class 12 have a better chance of getting a better rank.
4. Candidate Category
The Ranks are given based on the category of the students; therefore, a certain category of students will get a better rank for the same score.
